Clearly but to get it confirmed by the doctor himself was not expected by me.
You have to wonder if Trump dreads getting up in the morning these days, because every single day seems to bring some new disaster, or whether he and his ego are simply immune to it all now?

The continual car-crash of his presidency must make for a very strange atmosphere in the White House. Staff must be exhausted and given up on any semblance of strategy - everything must seem like a reaction to the boss's total unpredictability.

If you continually ps off people who actually helped and supported you, expect repercussions.

Couldn't agree more. Sooner or later, Trump is going to fall, and there will be very few willing to try and help him because he will have systematically betrayed or alienated all of them.

The one thing he has in his favour though is money (or at least the appearance of having it). So long as he has money there will probably be someone willing to stand by him I guess.

So, his lawyer pays material amounts of money and enters into agreements supposedly without client instructions, and his doctor signs a letter regarding a patient's health that the patient has dictated...but according to Trump, he only hires the best people. Right, Donald; got you.

The optics don't look good but context is relevant.

There were a lot of people crowded around Trump so not that easy to stand up.

He would also most likely have met them all initially off camera when they arrived and no doubt was standing at the time before everyone was told what was going to happen aka speech shake hands for cameras etc.

I really hope that someone in the White house has been making notes during the last 15 months detailing all his craziness and when it all implodes writes a book about it.
You mean apart from the books we've already seen released?
Indeed; you mean apart from author, Michael Wolff, who was allowed pretty free access over a 6 month period without anyone questioning it?

Having seen his latest tweet (no collusion!) I thought I would have a look to see how often he says it.

Somebody from start to finish to document the whole thing, including how it ends.

trumps lawyers don't have security clearance that would allow them to discuss certain matters, like meeting he had with Russian officials the day after trump fired Comey.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-05-02...

So many of team trump without security clearance...

Trump dictated 2015 letter his doctor wrote declaring him the “healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency” says letter’s author Dr. Harold Bornstein. “He dictated that whole letter. I didn't write that letter". He was Trump's physician for more than three decades and says his offices were raided by Keith Schiller, Trump's former longtime personal bodyguard and confidant, Trump Organization chief legal officer Alan Garten and a third "large man" who took all of Trumps records.

Discussing these claims, Sarah Saunders said: "As is standard operating procedure, the White House Medical Unit took possession of the President's medical records"

https://edition.cnn.com/2018/05/01/politics/trump-...

Sorry - what was it trump was saying about raiding the offices of someone, taking personal files, reading files of other clients...

Not draining very quickly that swamp.
Oh that’s funny. If actually read the article by CNN the doctor claims his practice was raided and he feels very angry and upset that a patient of 30 years would do that to him.

But someone else at his office? Familiar with the incident stated there was no “raid” and the most difficult moment was the doctor fumbling whilst trying to copy some paperwork or something.

So excuse me if I don’t entirely believe his claim that Trump wrote his medical records stating he is the fittest president ever (albeit it’s utter bs given Obama was clearly in better health than Trump)

The man sounds like he has massive sour grapes.

Just to add, the link below is to the video of this. He was sat down reading from a piece of paper and shook 3 people hands, all while sitting down. Even if it (laughably) was "not that easy to stand up" i think any respectful human would have said excuse me to the people around him and ask them to move so he COULD stand up. Shows why he didn't even bother to try i suppose.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/9914026...

ETA he went in for an awkward high five to start with as well. Credit where it is due he didn't do his pulling handshake move and he did let go fairly quickly before it became creepy (Plato anyone)?

None of us was there so we don’t know context. I know you all hate him with a passion so reasoning and context go out the window but to me it’s relevant.

It is of course possible he had not met them off camera and shook their hands and had a chat with them before the Clearly arranged photo op in which case he should have stood up when shaking hands on camera as it is simply a matter of respect.

That said even if he had met them off camera for a chat and to shake hands as I said before the optics as shown by you neverTrumpers look bad.

That said if the above was the case as said the optics as shown by you neverTrumpers look bad.

Obviously if he hadn’t met them all beforehand and shook hands and shown them due respect then clearly his remaining in his seat was disrespectful.
Not that it's important in the scheme of things but bks.

A staged photo op (it's not like she walked in and startled him) and he isn't standing to show his respect for someone who has done far more for their country than him. He's a fking malignant narcissitic tt.

Because it sounds like he was proud of the fact he was Trumps doctor and from that article it sounds like there was a belief he had been speaking about Trumps medical history to people who he shouldn’t have been hence why the records were suddenly removed and maybe he was hoping to cash in somehow and having Trumps records removed has stopped him being able to do so.

Who knows.

I am not saying he is lying or telling the truth just pointing out we have no real evidence either way to corroborate his claims or Trumps/White house.

EFA.

Why would he be sitting down for the photo if he stood up initially?
