You won't object to a 2nd referendum then?
Not at all.

However, maybe we should implement the first one and give it a try first?

We joined the EEC.

We have given it a few years.

We had a referendum to see what people thought.

We voted to leave.

Do you not think we should try it and see what it is like? Even if we wait say 5 years?
Or would you rather just vote and vote till the result you wanted lands on the table?

How many times did Nick Ferrari ask the same question? I thought people who couldn't give a straight answers and instead waffled and misdirected were to be ridiculed? rofl

Wow !

He's just dropped down in my estimation. Toys and pram come to mind.
He forgot the Freemasons too, they’re up to their necks in it.

Because he doesn't agree with you?
No, because his statement is inaccurate.
In some respects. Not in any material ones though.

Cox is a bright guy. No surprise that people who otherwise recognise that dismiss him out of hand when he says something they don’t like.

Objectivity, critical self assessment? Meh. For weak snowflake liberal lefties. Strength, courage, straight talkin’, echo chambers and reinforcement are the tropes of the day round these parts.

I listened to the Boris Johnson interview on LBC from yesterday

I'd say he was successful in the interview and gave some clear, concise and very articulate answers to questions.

Are you seriously saying Cox is objective? I like what he does, and yes he's a smart guy... but objective? Does being an astrophysicist involve having your emotions removed or something?

I've suggested on Twitter that any incoming Labour Government should have a tax raid on BBC Presenters.
It's getting some interesting responses

I thought that, when the Chesty ginger sky news presenter was talking to Hunt (possibly) about “policies for the rich” as though she wasn’t well off.

It would have been funny if he’d pointed out that she was going to benefit from them and they just high fived each other.

No way she was going to vote for Corbyn anyway.

Had some interesting things to say about Cox's interpretation of Hawking radiation on the event horizon of black holes as well - that'll shut him up.

I have two questions to ask:

1. Who are these masses hordes of BoJo supporters? He has been roundly laughed at for years on ph. Even those who have argued his intelligence (and he undoubtedly is) have always agreed that he is only ever one step from liability and that he is a political egomaniac.

2. Why the LBC interview focus as a disaster for BoJo? Certainly The Times today, inc the usually acerbic political sketch column, has him coming out of it and yesterday in general in fine fettle as full on Boris is Back and blazing with his best guns.

Actually I have another question: what happened to Hunt the ? For years that has been his lampooned and degenerated nickname, now suddenly he is the saviour of the land from Boris???

I must be living in some kind of alternative reality when BoJo is regarded as more right wing than Jeremy Hunt.

The only thing that matters to the media is their respective stances on Brexit. Based on the media reaction they think that Boris will probably deliver Brexit and Hunt probably wont.

1/ Brexit for some in the tory Party apparatus, is more important than anything else, not dissimilar to a cult like religion in fact. See the poll where tory voters would be happy to see the Union broken up if it guaranteed Brexit.

2/ Bojo is on a short lead. His handlers know the only person capable of beating Bojo, is Bojo.

What's the solution?
Pick up whatever pieces are left over the next few years, read up on Pandora's Box, and watch as countless authors attempt to explain the self destruction of the Tory party.
