This may come as a huge shock to you.

I really couldn't give a toss.
Then why are you here?
And again, what question haven’t I answered?

Say anything against the grain and the attack dogs are released.

All you have is a weak poor widdle oppressed me narrative and a bi-weekly flounce and return routine which is as realistic as a fake Time magazine cover in a Trump hotel.

You haven't really said anything much though have you? You've just said it's all a big laugh and when asked perfectly civilly to expand on that and discuss the issues beyond that you've got nothing..

You're just a massive troll fella.

Well, given that you appear to be some form of Trumpette Toy Poodle, anything more robust than a King Charles Spaniel must look like an attack dog.

Yep. It keeps his 30% of the voter base that are outright morans and that is all he needs for the moment.

I hope the majority of republicans are smart enough to see through this sad little charade and actually realise the damage that is being done to the political process, and the role of politics in society.

How did you guys feel about the 'birther' lie?
The same way I do about every other bullst lying politician. Go" what a tit" and trust and defend democracy knowing that, that tit will be gone in a bit replaced by another tit.

It's why I hate it when people start trying to subvert democracy because they didn't get their way. It's how you end up loosing it and get stuck with a big massive tit who you can get rid of.

Google it.

You are the sort of person that reads the front cover of George Orwell's 1984 and says sod that I don't want to read about 1984.
Ad hom to hide that fact that you didn't Google "risk aversion" yourself? To remind you:

It's waffly contradictory BS again. As if you're channeling the great orange buffoon.

I think the Republicans see through it already. I can’t see them allowing it to continue for much longer. The recent elections were a disaster.
I think that as soon as they finish getting their judicial appointments and the tax bill through (which makes very interesting reading) there will be moves afoot. That’s if Mueller doesn’t get there first.

You mean using your extensive media profile to remove an elected president by spreading lies about him being born in Kenya?

But apparently most of the people on here aren't smart enough to see though it though. Because they keep posting it up giggling and going look how stupid this guy is. When much of the time it's quite shrewd politics. But like you said not smart enough to see though it.

Alternatively, have you considered the possibility that American politics has endured a hideous stress fracture that has allowed a massive blunder-ccensoredt to become President, and that only very, very minor piddling little blunder-ccensoredts, who hold themselves as superior intellects, think otherwise?

That's some convoluted mental gymnastics to try and justify support for someone who is selling a lie to further their own business interest and satiate their immense ego and narcissism.

Pointing out the constant stream of incompetence and idiotic decisions led only by self interest does not negate any of what I said.

I'm reserving judgement of how shrewd he is until we know how much help he had and continues to get from illegal, nefarious politics.

And shrewd to what end? Successfully getting him in power and lining his own pockets? Can't deny he's achieved that much, but is that being a good politician or just an ethics-free grifter? Do you think America will actually be Great Again thanks to him, even if he had a free run at it with no-one trying to keep him legal and constitutional?

I don't disagree with your earlier point that hyperbolic hand-wringing isn't going to get anyone very far and lessons do need to be learned. And as someone once said, no-one ever changed their mind for being called an idiot. Unfortunately the Cult of Trump are so far beyond having their minds changed by any rational fact or argument you might as well call them what you like and enjoy the release. Makes no difference anyway.

He can't even honour veterans without descending into racism.

I'm just baffled by the "appalled".
Just don't get why it bothers you and the others so much, maybe you're lacking in the humour department?
Its been a nice refreshing change, maybe that's what you can't handle either?
(I don't mean any of that in a nasty way either).
There's been years and years of the same old,I like the digs, bypassing CNN,tweets etc
Great entertainment.
I'm not appalled, I just can't believe anyone would defend the man. A self confessed sexual predator, failed businessman, staggering hypocrite and all around ballsack of a human being who is now using the presidency to line his own pocket whilst his supporters cheer him on as if he's going to make anything better for them.

Those defending him must find his behaviour to be OK, rushing to his defense against the libtards on PH, as if old little hands Trumpy would thank you for it.
Err no to the defence bit

It's made American Politics interesting and when you don't have a dog in the race it can only be entertaining AFAIAC

Do, kindly, stroll on.

If you don't think the conduct of the President of the United States doesn't have an immediate, and ultimately potentially terminal, effect on whatever race you think your dog is in, and to regard his conduct as some form of entertainment, marks you out as a special kind of half-wit.
