Six months today until the new ULEZ takes effect, what are the chances it will be delayed or stopped by the government?

Also are they going to have the camera infrastructure in place by then to even implement it?

And finally where I live I see lots and lots of (mostly diesel) cars that will not be compliant, are we going to see all of these people trying to get a ULEZ compliant car in the next few months?

I just find it strange there are six months to go now, it effects millions of people, yet few people seem to even acknowledge it is happening.

Yes it’s happening dealers are getting lots of enquiries for ulez free cars.
Prices on these cars already rising for example cheap petrol small ulez free cars now trading for absurd money. - I’ve just sourced for 2 customers small petrol auto where they only had a £5k budget - things like fiesta Yaris Seift petrol auto models are selling for around £5k are ancient - 2009/2010 models ie crazy money.

Whilst I realise this is a very one sided video effing hell life looks bleak in this country. Sadiq Khan (aka tosspot) has a lot to answer for.

Thankfully I don’t live in a city and very rarely visit one (2-3 times a year) so it’s impact on me will probably be limited initially (although who knows where this will go).

I imagine an awful lot of number plates might get doctored or fall off and I would be having a backup unregistered phone so I couldn’t be tracked that way either.

Every time I see one more of our freedoms being eroded I think once I’ve finished my working life I am sodding off somewhere where the government doesn’t seem to want to have its fingers in every aspect of my life.

Infact once I demob in about 5 years time I’m really struggling to think of a reason to stay here if the country is going down this route. We might just sod off elsewhere then instead.
You're clearly an extreme right wing conspiracy theorist that's afraid of change. Be gone.
And yet it is left wing countries like Russia, China and North Korea who are producing the most global CO2 and pollution. Funny that!
Russia isn't left wing!
Its a kleptocracy....and bares no connection to anything left wing anymore.

Would you describe Russia as a far right country?

A quick Google would seem to suggest Russia displays more right wing traits than left wing.

China emit a lot of pollution, but the west have basically outsourced it's pollution to then, so it seems churlish to beat them up with that.

China will probably get a grip on it faster than most of the west imo.
