More gangs, look at the photo's or names

When we don't want to accept whats going on more gangs get away with their crimes and more victims are created.
Yes. I'm aware of all this.

My question was, how are posters on here so sure it's down to Islam, when all of the gangs also share the trait of being Pakistani and male.
Ah sorry mis understood :-)

The thing about this awful situation is that whatever your prejudice you will find something to latch onto.

If religion is your bugbear then you can point out that all these men are Muslim.

If race pushes your buttons then they are all Pakistani.

A radical feminist might point out that they are all men.

And if you have a view that the country has gone to the dogs thanks to mass immigration then it’s a cultural thing.

In reality, like most situations, it’s multi faceted and complicated. And no amount of pointing to what Mohammed may or may not have done several centuries ago is going to solve anything.
Its this attitude that means scum get away with things like this. Your post already comes across as trying to avoid the obvious. I believe roughly 98% of Pakistanis are Muslim. We know that under Islam women are second rate citizens. To pretend that there is no link to Islam and Pakistani culture is just denial.

I've done no such thing. You've decided I'm an apologist and then created your own narrative. Again, my question was purely about how some posters are so sure it's all down to Islam.

I notice you ignore the other common trait?

Such as? Pakistani, men, Islam, Rotherham. Not sure what else to genuinely throw in?

We are able to say with certainty that a senior police officer from Rotherham admits that his force had a policy of ignoring Pakistani gangs grooming and raping children, for decades, due to racial concerns.
That's a reason for them 'getting away with it' (and also, of course, that the police decided the girls were prostitutes). It doesn't answer the question about the cause. Is it race or religion?
For me your question isn't as important as the force's official statement. Being Politically Correct should be a lower priority than investigating crime, regardless of who it upsets.

Fine, but I was just trying to establish why some people are so sure it's down to Islam.

Are you aware that when some of these girls made complaints they were written off as prostitutes by the police? Not very PC that, is it? Does say something about how our culture maybe views vulnerable, 'lower class' young girls though.

Are you sure? If one of these girls claimed she'd been raped after spending the night with a Premier League footballer at a hotel, do you think the response would be the same as it is to this situation?

You seem to be doing an awful lot of victim blaming here, do you work for the WYP?

Point out where I'm victim blaming? If you want to see examples of victim blaming then there are plenty of historic threads on here regarding young girls and rape allegations (where the perpetrators are not Pakistani/Muslim).

Yes as there was no response. It was not just poor working class girls involved .. Parents, teachers and social workers all tried to get the police to act and came up against a brick wall of fear of being seen as racist. . Media stayed clear in the main out of the fear of being labelled racist as well.
Over time the full facts of the disgrace that was perpetrated within certain parts of our police force will come out.

I find it incredible that race (or fear of being branded racist) was the only factor that stopped the police investigating. The police have never had an issue with this where other 'races' are concerned (stop & search for example).

Maybe. But I suspect there's a lot more to come out from this.

This ought to be a source of national shame, but people are angrier about someone on Question Time saying something mildly controversial.
