I'm 29, I wear a mask in shops and on public transport.

Doesn't make a difference to me but if it makes someone near me feel more comfortable, why not.

What if it makes someone near you feel uncomfortable?

What if it makes someone near you feel uncomfortable?
Then they're a bit of a snowflake?

But the person who 'feels more comfortable ' because somebody else is wearing a mask isn't?

It'd make me feel comfortable if you gave me 100 quid.

Why not?

They are hypothetical in this case, so we don't know.

This, in the history of mankind no-one has ever give a st about anyone else until they realised they could get virtue signalling points for it. You only have to go back to March 2020 to see the selfish tts hoarding the last of the food and toilet rolls, didn't care very much about the others then did they.

Was also hypothetical in first post.....why would you say they are a bit of a snowflake when you know nothing about said persons mental wellbeing?

Even at fuel stations it seems to be younger trades type people is all that's left. I guess the Screwfix full on muzzle compliance trained them.
Utter bedwetters.

It's rather unlikely that anyone would feel uncomfortable just from seeing someone wearing a mask.

Not at all, I have spoken to several of my customers who have expressed the very same. Cuts both ways.

Indeed, nobody in this hypothetical situation needs to be stressed about anything, as I see it.

What even this far in? And you're not just saying it to add to your argument?

I work on a ship, we all have to wear the damn things and I hate them, but it seems pointless to let it bother me really as there is sod all I can do about it.

Screwfix has been empty every time I've been recently, both the retail side and Electrifix. I doubt the trades were very happy top be made to stand outside in the rain whilst they waited over the last couple of years and have found other places to go, coupled with the fact they never have anything in stock.

It could be that the majority have moved to their on-line business now but the place certainly looks like a ghost town these days.

Ditto

I also secretly judge them. Tbh whenever I see anyone wearing a mask now I just think that they are not only weird but also stupid and most likely a sad virtue signaller.

No, I don't feel comfortable around people who wear masks - I never have
