They are uncomfortable seeing someone wearing a mask? Really? Why?
The answer I get is ' not normal' , ' upsets me to see it ' etc...CarCrazyDad said:

It's rather unlikely that anyone would feel uncomfortable just from seeing someone wearing a mask.

Indeed, nobody in this hypothetical situation needs to be stressed about anything, as I see it.
Quite. No fvcks should be given when observing people with or without masks. Personally, I'm past caring.
As an aside, Paul, how are things looking for you on the live cruise shows now? Improving, hopefully?

Shore leave is almost non existent so the crew is stuck onboard for months on end, although this is slowly improving with some limitations … organised tours are slowly starting to be introduced.
All in all though, it’s good to be back and we’re cautiously optimistic.

I'm just hoping for playing live set on NYE this year, first since December 2019, Latest jape is "Build Me Up" by The Foundations. Christ, the chord changes come thick and fast!

The answer I get is ' not normal' , ' upsets me to see it ' etc...and regardless of that it, it absolutely *isn't* normal, given how much of human communication and interaction is based on body language and facial expressions.
I'm from Scotland, and myself and my girlfriend were in the Lakes last week. We decided to get the bus to Ambleside one day, instead of taking the car (conserving fuel!)
The driver of our bus was an incredibly smiley and cheerful soul and we both commented on this to each other. It was lovely to see, and yet, up here, we'd never have had that conversation, coz he'd have been wearing a mask and we'd have had no idea.
Masks take away a lot more than people like you can grasp, or are willing to admit.
In some ways I envy you, and those like you, actually.
To give so little of a fk about these things, that not seeing other people's faces doesn't bother you.

I feel uncomfortable with other people wearing masks, makes it feel all weirdI've spent 60 years seeing peoples faces , being able to tell facial expressions
And then I've had 12 months of it , and that's enough
They are horrible, de humanising to be wearing and to be seen wearing, not to mention hot / clammy / uncomfortable
I'm sure some clown will be along soon to say "Shoe's are un natural too!" to whit I will advice them to look at the photo I posted further up the page :-)
If you want to wear them, fine, I don't say anything, but know that I think you're being stupid - not only uneducated but easily led by propaganda
If you wear masks then you might as well use a hole saw on your umbrella when it rains , same thing

You think you're cleverer and better educated than the scientists advising our and other governments?Or just cleverer and more educated than anyone who chooses to wear a mask?
Wow. Either way.
