No, we need less people.
People live much longer than they used to. That's just a fact.

BBC Thursday 6th October 10.40pm

The panel includes

Nadhim Zahawi MP and best political backstabber of the past 10 years maybe the architect of lets make a bad situation worse
Lisa Nandy Labour Princess. MP for Wigan who has won there several times and doesn’t half like to mention it. If Andy Burnham is the Lord of Manchester she is the angel of the north
Brian Cox the actor not the scientist and a rabid set Scotland free SNP supporter. Twice the fun of Ian Blackford yet half his size,
Piers Morgan loved by no one except TV companies and hated by millions. For all he can on occasions talk sense he will always be a prying phone tapping bd who got away with it
Wilfred Emmanuel Jones nice chap aimed to be a Tory MP around 2010 and voted Leave not your usual leftie celeb.

Questions could include

Wheres me £324 quid
Why have they had £326 and are getting another £324 and I got nothing
Petrols come down but the bds havent passed it on at the pumps
We demand a general election now
The NHS wont cope this winter
They said we could keep warm at the library but since covid its only open on Tuesdays and Fridays
I dont pay any tax but the rich should pay more than 45% or whatever
Why havent the government brought in the troops to drive the trains
I voted for Liz but even I am ashamed at the cataclysm that has occured
We demand a general election if things are'nt better within a fortnight

+1 hehe
I rarely bother watching QT, & doubt I will make an exception tomorrow, but I do enjoy reading the lineup summary and likely questions: thanks!

Very common for expats to have rose-tinted glasses.

I'd love to return to an independent Scotland, but I don't think Queen Nicola would agree with me that turning Edinburgh into the Singapore of the North is the way to go, along with turning Scotland into a hydro-electric, tidal and wind powerhouse.

Too wee and too poor. 5 million population, 1 million too sick, lame and lazy to pay net tax, 1 million too young to pay net tax and 1 million too old to pay net tax. Best thing is to let RoUK pay for Scotland.

Piers starts off with a populist and incorrect version of economic events .. can't wait for the Lisa Nandy to come up with some profound economic theories.

Zahawi would be right at home in Romford market with a snake oil stall. The audience member with his head in his hands said it all.

Thursday 13th October BBC1 10.40pm

A delightfully Scottish themed episode tonight from Musselburgh.

Guests are:

Douglas Ross Conservative MP
Anas Sarwar Labour
John Swinney SNP
Isabel Hardman
Stuart Murdoch Singer from Belle and Sebastian (ask your parents)

Questions could include and may go something in this order:

What was the U Turn today?
How long can the Tory Party Survive?
How long can Liz truss Survive?
Why isn’t there an SNP member on the programme every week seeing as how we are the 3rd biggest party ?

The it will be time for the real nitty gritty the really important questions that everyone ever alive or dead in Scotland wants the answers to:

When can we vote on Independence- everyone I know wants to get away from the English b*st*rds even the heroin addicts think it’s important ?
Why can’ we have a vote sooner like in December ?
I can’t afford my energy bills. Some of my neighbours are English is it ok to break into their houses and nick stuff to sell seeing as how they have plundered my country ?
When we are independent (and proud) when will the English pay us back for all the oil and gas they nicked from our sea ?
Etc

I really don't understand what the point of BBC regional TV is sometimes. When QT is in Scotland I have minimal interest in what's going on, and I'm sure the opposite is true for our Scottish, Northern Irish and Welsh friends.

Why don't the BBC run QT Scotland/NI/Wales separate from QT England and put it on regional channels? Then maybe once a month have a UK version where everyone gets to shout at each other about common issues...

I have often wondered similar, although I almost entirely gave up watching it some years ago.

Newsnight is far superior.

I haven't yet worked out what the questions will be so will add them later

Edited by anonymoususer on Wednesday 19th October 18:06

Newly released Panel picture

Questions may include:

Why is there only one photo of Graham Stuart in existence ?
Why did Liz Truss not vote in the fracking thingey was it because she had conned many of her own party to vote her way by saying they would be potted if they didnt so they did only to be told later that they wouldn't ?
When we do restart fracking in places that are surprisingly non traditional tory voting places if there is an earthquake can we just pretend it was natural causes ?
Is Liz Truss the best person to lead the Tories to electoral oblivion ?
Is Liz Truss really a sleeper agent programmed by the LIb Dems many years ago who has been deep undercover ?
Why are you all deriding Liz Truss ? I can remember the Winter of Discontent and I dont like Angela Rayner so I think Labour would be doing a much worse job. When you look back to then you can see that Liz is doing well by comparison
Why is there no SNP Member on tonight to suggest that England seeks independence from Westminster ?
With the rising cost of electricity, the lack of charging points is an electric car still a good investment ?
Why hasn';t Channel 4 sacked that nasty news presenter who called a top tory two faced b*st*rd a C*nt ? If a Tory did that to a newscaster he would have been either sacked by now or lied through his teeth about it and got off scot free
Why are you allowing foreigners in to fill the vacancies that we don't want to be bothered with ?
Why was Grant Shapps promoted as he seems well you know a bit dodgy is it because no one else wanted to be bothered with the job ?
Has the conservative party been infiltrated by a bunch of super rich people that are only interested in things that are good for them ?
Isn't it all a media led lie to present Liz Truss in a bad light when in reality she is doing the best she can and the media just don't like her.
Etc

Indeed, he could be appointed and sacked, all before the show starts smile
