This is the man who tried stiring up the NFL protest by saying the players taking a knee were disrespecting the military and vets.
There is no way he wrote that himself out of his own free will. This is the man who tried stiring up the NFL protest by saying the players taking a knee were disrespecting the military and vets.

ossibly, but we're hearing one microphone where positioning / the polar pattern can make a significant difference to what we can hear vs what people in other locations can.
There are much better things to go at him for than that.
No doubt, but how about you watch the video anyway and note the position of Trump, the questioner, and the microphones. Your excuse just doesn't hold water. There are much better things to go at him for than that.
This episode, together with the flag debacle, speaks directly to the character of the POTUS, and I'd suggest it's not a good look for him among the floating voters.

The statehouse Republican in charge of redistricting, Rep. David Lewis, justified the map after its creation, saying: “I think electing Republicans is better than electing Democrats. So I drew this map to help foster what I think is better for the country.”
During a hearing on the new maps, Rep. Lewis “said the districts were drawn to give Republicans 10 seats and Democrats three seats because they couldn’t figure out a way to draw an 11-2 map,” according to the News and Observer. “It worked: Republicans won 10 seats in November 2016, and Democrats won three.”

I imagine any floating voters have plenty to go on already given his daily behaviour.

ho knows without being sat where he was? Either way I think it's pushing it a bit to really get on his back for not asking questions in that environment after the session was over.

He's the President who just gives more - more reason to despise him.I imagine any floating voters have plenty to go on already given his daily behaviour.
They may indeed have had enough, but he is generous in his dispensation of bad behaviour and bad manners and just keeps on giving.
India's bureaucracy is grinding itself in to action as the commerce department releases a report detailing areas of the commodities sector where it can take market share from American producers: https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/economy/...
If the China / USA element of the trade war escalates, which it is expected to do, then as the range of goods coverd by tariffs expands so will the scramble to undercut American and Chinese exporters by countries less affected by tariffs.
Good news for India. Less clear how this MAGA's though. While we're still in the stimulus phase of the tax cuts I'm not sure how much this matters but as that wears off and Americans become less able to consume then things are going to get interesting.

I was gobsmacked (I know, I shouldn't be shocked at his childishness anymore) to hear a repeat of a clip where Trump said he "likes soldies who weren't captured" in response to McCain being referred to as a war hero. Classy words from a man whose exposure to the war in Vietnam was watching it on TV.

TP, whats your thoughts on trumps Nafta by another name?
Bluster mostly. Without knowing the details it's hard to hold a firm opinion but I view it more as a local spat than anything important on a geopolitical level.I can imagine Trump getting an additional deal on top of NAFTA but geography alone will ensure there are enough vested interests at state level to make it hard for congress to repeal NAFTA.
I guess it's possible that Trump has managed to get a deal so good that congress agrees it is better to repeal NAFTA and go solely on Trumps deals, I wouldn't bet money on it though.

In reference to war, do you know what Trump referred to as his own 'Vietnam'?https://money.cnn.com/2016/10/14/media/trump-stern...
