A super PAC closely linked to Paul Manafort is facing FEC scrutiny over why it failed to report a $1 million contribution received just before the 2016 presidential election. Mueller is reportedly investigating whether Rebuilding America Now illegally received foreign funds and was connected to a scheme that Manafort allegedly lied about while purportedly cooperating with Mueller.

Now that Whitaker isn't acting Attorney General, and now that the House Judiciary Committee publicly informed Matt Whitaker that it had found proof he was lying when he claimed under oath that he had never discussed the Robert Mueller probe with trump, trump has done his usual, finding a 'job' for his underling in trouble. Pressure to keep his mouth shut?

trump has hired Whitaker permanently as a “senior counselor” at the Department of Justice. One wonders if like Schiller and Omarosa Onee Manigault Newman, the salary offered was $15k a month for no or very little work?
