45th President of the United States, Donald Trump. Vol 3
Discussion
ABC news are reporting that Flynn will testify against the Donald and members of the trump family and other in the whitehouse. Apparently he felt abandoned by trump and was facing crippling legal costs.
Shame they can't replace the lot with Melania. She's the only one whose shown any respect to the position

Luke Harding of the guardian is saying this is bigger than watergate, that the Donald, Flynn and others had clear knowledge of Putins ambitions and went along with it

It might be as it involves national security. Watergate was more of an internal affairs matter.
I've always thought that effectively Trump was a traitor. Nixon wasn't a traitor - he was just crooked. Time will tell if my assessment of Trump is supported by the avalanche of evidence that is coming.

Putin's election interference, as Harding notes, was part of a years-long campaign to destroy the EU, NATO, and, yes, the United States. Complicity in that campaign is complicity in an attempt by Putin to reinstate the Cold War and demolish Western democracy. It's that big.
Trump, Flynn, and many others had—as late as August 17, 2016, but certainly much earlier than that—clear knowledge of what Putin's ambitions were. And they not only played footsie with him after that but *actively conspired with him* and his agents in secret. It's *that* big.
Before this ends, the GOP will have no choice but to disavow Trump as one of the greatest traitors in our history—we're getting only the first inkling of that eventuality today.
But Trump won't go quietly—he'll take about half the GOP with him to form a new political party.
So yes, the Roy Moore situation is very much about certain members of the GOP, Trump particularly, apologizing for and/or enabling a pedophile. But understand this: Roy Moore will also be a key leader in the political party Trump eventuality forms once the GOP kicks him out.
I won't go too far down this line of analysis now, but suffice to say that when I say today's plea is the beginning of the end for Trump's presidency—though we've a long way to go (well into '18)—it's also the beginning of the end for many other things. And the start of some.

So is Flynn's guilty plea proof there is a "there" there? Has he turned? If so, how worried should Kushner, Donald Jr, Sessions and Pence be right about now, and how long before one of them (or someone close to them and feeling exposed) turns? There have to be a lot of people in the White House seriously considering their positions, as association with Trump is only going to get more toxic, so how long before the leaks start? You also have to wonder how many careers at Fox are on the line, and how long before the rats start deserting that ship? Oh, and does any of this implicate Farage in any way, given his recent buddying up to Trump?
You get the feeling this is going to be huge when it finally all comes undone.

From what I’ve been reading over the last hour, they could all be totally fked. Rumours are he’s going to testify that Trump himself told him to contact Russia. You get the feeling this is going to be huge when it finally all comes undone.

Interesting. Manafort transferred two of his properties into the names of his wife and daughter in august according to NYC records. Trying to avoid asset forfeiture?
Flynns reported got a $1m legal bill to pay and is putting one of his houses up for sale. I though the donald said he’ll defray legal costs incurred by campaign associates and White House staff in regards to the FBI’s Trump Russia investigation. Probably why Flynn flipped, he didn't have the donalds deep pockets or access to.WitnessProtection said:

No one knows, possibly never, but there’s absolutely no doubt that this is Meuller’s playbook. Pick off some of the outer lying players, turn them, work into the next layer, and slowly get closer and closer to the core.
