Blockading the Arla dairy factory. They've said they won't move until Arla agrees to stop selling milk. They might be there a while. I can't work out whether the bunny huggers have jumped on the climate bandwagon or the other way round. It was much simpler when all these protestors just called themselves anti-capitalist.
and much more honest.

XR is a bd offspring of 'Rising UP!' which is an anti capitalist movement among other childish things. Perhaps Animal Rebellion is another such issue.

What do they think will happen to the cows if everyone stopped eating beef and drinking milk?

I always wonder what these people actually want the world to look like?

Do they actually know or is it simply protest against everything they don’t like?

The thing is if the police can respond like that (& when they eventually pulled the protesters off the bus on London Bridge yesterday) the question is why haven’t they done that immediately up till now? The protesters haven’t legally been able to block roads in this way so they should have been ripped out in all cases immediately.

Once again doesn’t make sense to ordinary people.

If all the XR proponents voluntarily had the `snip' they would each be doing the absolute best thing possible to save the planet, in a putting their money (or rather a part of their anatomy) where their mouth is sort of way.
I wont however be holding my breath, waiting to see them do this.
Why not go the whole way and cut off their goulies? scratchchin

Apologies for Twitter link, but THIS really is what we need more of from the Met. Right in at that start, don't let the pricks set up, get stuck in aggressively. Of course the XR and usual are complaining vigorously, ooh nasty police, with your carefully curated alternative video of events.

Listen you effing aholes, we understand the point you're trying to make by driving into London with a diesel lorry and blocking roads. We have spent millions dealing with you, too gently imo, millions that could be spent on dealing with proper crimes. Like 5 people in teens and twenties stabbed in Harrow.

I'm very pleasantly, but very, surprised by that action by the Met. Long may it continue. I imagine that took the XR nobs quite by surprise, accustomed as they have been to being able to set up at will.

Personally, where these idiots superglue themselves to fixed objects, I would advocate their removal by having an adequate number of police officers pulling gently but firmly until the weakest point gives way. May discourage copycat behaviour.

They don't care eating meat, fish or bugs for that matter is bad hmm kay.. industrialised farming is also bad 'cause fertiliser, pesticide and machines killing wildlife. How they propose everyone has enough "food" is not their problem.

Have they not recently passed a bill aimed at preventing people from protesting in this way, empowering the police to now act in a way that could not before?

I'm not convinced the question about cows is serious but anyway. You separate the male and female cows. The ones alive now would eventually die and then their wouldn't be any more cows. Problem solved.

Are farmers likely to provide funds keeping unproductive cattle alive? They would be shot and burnt.

They don't know, and don't care, so long as they are in charge.
