Tonight in Pennsylvania, Representative-elect Helen Tai flipped House District 178 from red to blue, ending Republicans' 35-year-hold on the district and marking Democrats’ 41st flip since the 2016 election.

A state seat? Is 41 a lot? Is this a good indicator of the NOvember national elections?
41 is a mix of positions, but these are ones which flipped to trump (and a few others) that have flipped back.

7383 State Legislative Seats in the US, so no, it's not a lot.

You don't have to answer, genuinely wondering what you are talking about. I can't work out if you are profound or not really understanding what people are talking about?

Probably a stable genus and I am just a bit slow.

Please help me and your post count by being a touch clearer for us laymen.

For me to guess I would say people are commenting on Trump (in the trump thread) and you are waving a "hey don;t look there at that bad thing, look at this unrelated thing thing/ broad insult"
Yes, you are slow

I meant in terms of flipping, I wouldn't expect all local UK councils to flip to blue/red, but I wouldn't know if 'arbitrary' number was a lot in a specific period.

I wanna look at 538 (took me ages to remember thatsite) but they were fking useless in the 2016 election. biggrin

sod it i looked

Or used a full stop.

Definite pattern. Certain people say something Silly/ Controversial/ random. Don't explain or provide evidence or explanation. Then insult when questioned/ cornered.

Seems consistent, I've been called an Anti-Semite and a Nazi for criticising Israel's breach of Article 49 of the Geneva Convention, using weapons banned by said act against unarmed civilians causes a military response if you are Syria but not even condemnation if you are Israel
I've also been called an anti-Semite for voicing the same criticisms and I'm Jewish!!!
LOL smile Only on PH in my case so not in the real world

Interesting release of docs from the Senate Judiciary Committee
Materials from Inquiry into Circumstances Surrounding Trump Tower Meeting

https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/press/releases/ma...

Senate Democrats have made a statement saying: "In its investigation so far, the Committee has found evidence of multiple contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian government officials or their intermediaries, including offers of assistance and purported overtures from Vladimir Putin."

Page 26 onwards - Trump Jr talked to Emin Agalarov who arranged Trump Tower meeting then made 11-minute phone call to a blocked number. Trump Jr said he couldn't remember who he called. However, Dems note Corey Lewandowski testified Candidate Trump's primary residence has a blocked number.

The Trump Organization fed a prepared statement to a publicist for Russians involved in the notorious 2016 meeting at Trump Tower on what to tell the press about what was discussed

In a thread devoted to Trump, who has had several extra marital affairs; you've got a problem with people discussing his marriage?

He's the one who brings his marriage into the discussion, with his actions. Kind of like everything else he does really.

Melania Trump had kidney surgery yesterday. trump tweeted: “Heading over to Walter Reed Medical Center to see our great First Lady, Melania. Successful procedure, she is in good spirits. Thank you to all of the well-wishers!”

But he didn't bother to go....
Are you sure?

Apologies - early reports said he hadn't left the white house for some time after he tweeted that
To be fair, much like Barbara Bush's funeral, he probably knows he isn't wanted there.

They actually had Trump at ~30% chance of winning just before the election when the bookies had it at ~17% so not as useless as they could have been.

He repeatedly cheats on her and lies about it, thereby embarrassing her very publicly.

Are those actions conducive to a happy marriage?

I have no clue how she feels, nor do you. (Please send me her email to you expressing her thoughts)
