I believe so, there are also many fine people on both sides.
So then lets get that rolled out everywhere. Be racist or homophobic in the US - get accosted. Throw a gay person off a building in the middle east - great fun, no repercussion

I don't agree at all with the posts about Trump concentrating on his own country, this is a good move for him and I'm sure alot of gay people around the world will be excited at the prospect

Yes, the pertinent question is why is the President of the United States trying to change hate and bigotry in Iran rather than confronting the issue of hate and bigotry in the United States?

I'll save Boydie from avoiding the answer again, because that would target his own supporters and going after Iran with a policy that will do SFA makes him look good to his supporters because they hate Arabs and Muslims (and don't know the majority of Iranians are actually Persian... let alone that Persians are Caucasian).
What do you think the issue in the US is?

Answer a question with a question.

Tiresome in the extreme.

Trump has no genuine opinion about anything. That is because his brain is filled with sawdust.

All he does is try to blurt out streams of words that he thinks might appeal to his core supporters. In some cases, these blurts may actually contradict each other or clash with something else he blurted previously. He is too stupid, careless, reckless, dumb or interested to care.

"Appeal to the base" is his mantra. He knows nothing else.

It seems that it is allowed for private institutions to discriminate against gay people as noted above.

Good thing it wasn't your question then. Cynic gave no clue as to what 'the issue' actually is.

Congrats on the rest of the meaningful drivel in the post.

"Meaningful drivel" must be a compliment (even if rather oxymoronic). Thanks.

Meaningless, rather. But take it as a victory if that's all you have.

I thought it was funny - and typical of the rather wild methods of debate used by those who try to justify Trump. Speak first - think second (or not at all).

I can see why some people might identify with him.

Boydie, mate. Please don't derail another thread with your aggression, it's not welcome and it's not nice.
Thank you.

You would think that with the national emergency on the southern border Trump would be putting all his efforts into solving it.

If you have trouble understanding it, that is your issue. Do not lump others in with you.

Meanwhile, you're avoiding answering the question again... Why is trump not attempting to fight bigotry and racism within the US (which he is meant to be the leader of)?

What aggression? Eric Mc appears from no where with a load of nonsense.

Derailing? Please, this thread is only kept alive by Byker posting links every time Trump farts the wrong way.

Quite enjoying Minimoog's, Escapegoat's and Aphex's take on it.

I'd love for your last paragraph to be true. But sadly it seems many are keen to virtue signal around such policies (what this could well be) and very few action on it.
Isn't it possible that Trump's administration is simply virtue-signalling?

Oh, so you see an issue where others don't. I guess it's s much of an issue it stops homosexuals joining his party rolleyes

I don't see an evident problem. There isn't a problem to fight imo. Yes there are scum bag people out there with frankly awful views, but so long as those views don't impact the freedom of others, they're welcome to have them.

Dozens of countries around the world criminalising people for a sexual choice is a problem that would change the world for the best if sorted. This is being driven by Richard Grenell, not Trump.

Absolutely, said it in one of the posts above. But Grenell has out his name out there with it and we'll see where it leads.

And you can recognise nonsense posts from a mile off - as you have ably demonstrated.

I look forward to seeing more of your meaningful (or perhaps that should be meaningless) responses.

I don't think I've seen a post from you that isn't either vitriolic to Trump or to people who aren't in the same bandwagon as you, strange way to live, but each to their own.

Presumably you can bring yourself to say Grenell is pursuing a good cause here though.

Name calling Trump is a waste of time. He would revel in it.

His thought processes are at the level of a 5 year old - and he obviously appeals to people who are a similar intellectual level as him.

There always was a danger that the fools and undereducated would one day hold sway. We are in that era now and it is hard to see how we get out of it. The price of undereducation is to be ruled by the undereducated.
