Terrorist sympathizer going to be a hard position to justify though.
Christ on a bike that is crass.
True though, isn't it? Let's look at which party leader might have weaknesses when it comes to terrorism.

The remainder of the election cycle will be very different.

Crass?

Hardly. Merely an observation. I beleive this thread is for discussion of the election. The narrative just changed dramatically.

The agenda will now focus understandably on home security and who is best placed to protect us. Corbyn hasn't helped himself in his recent interviews has he.

I must be old fashioned then in that I'd consider it good form to let the police at least sweep up the dead children before using their deaths to stick the knife into a politician for your own ideological purposes.

Ta.

So funding a pension might be safer than funding other forms of investment.

And yet you are happy to use phrases like "sweep up the dead children"... a touch of hypocrisy when it comes to "crass".

It is not crass at all, it is completely true, May's 'U' turn bad news yesterday will be quickly forgotten with this, Corbyn needs to play very carefully now.

just a thought but how many of these "elderly" people could be looked after either in their homes or at the homes of family members as used to be the norm some years ago. Grand Parents used to regularly move in with a son or daughter and I know this is a different time but maybe paying families to take care of elderly at home may be cheaper in the long run and better also for the families.
What is to stop people doing that now?

There is nothing stopping families coming to an agreement to transfer the value of the estate early and provide the care themselves - rather than relying on state provided care and then paying it out of the estate after death (under the new policy of course).

Using their deaths? Grow up.

I wasn't commenting on any individual, let alone sticking a knife anywhere.

As said, simply my thoughts on where the election will now go.

I thought this was where adults had that kind of discussion.

Grow up? rofl

You literally did a Jo Moore 'It's a good day to bury bad news' & your reaction speaks volumes.

You're a mod right? Shame you saw fit to let pages of people throwing insults at each other go last night but instantly get a bit twitchy when it's on you & then have the temerity to tell me to grow up?

Bloody hell,

You're wrong. Again.

This is a thread about the upcoming election. JYB simply commented that the recent atrocities will put a different focus on people's voting priorities. Which it clearly will.
Not sure why that is in dispute?

Bloody hell. Now I agree with Trump.

Trump said:
During a speech in Israel he said "so many young beautiful innocent people. They were murdered by evil losers.

"I won’t call them monsters because they would like that term. They would think that's a great name.

"I will call them, from now on, losers, because that’s what they are.

"And we will have more of them but they are losers, just remember that...

"Our society can have no tolerance for this continuation of bloodshed.

"This evil ideology must be completely obliterated."
Sounds a bit like a dumbed down Andrew Neil.

Yes, wrong. Again.

The tragic events that have unfolded will indeed shift people's focus.

It's not in dispute by anyone with an ounce of common.

He's been here three months yet thinks he knows you're a mod? Yeah maybe you used to be, some time ago. Wonder who he was in a previous username?

I have no idea of JAYB's political allegiances, but I do know his statement was factually correct.

Your ire is better directed to the person who decided to (unreasonably and unnecessarily) try and take the moral high ground.
