I suspect that there will be more mass shootings directly tied to MAGA loons. Until the US is willing to do more than just "think and pray" not much can be done aside from stockpiling body bags.

It's the idea of an organised rebellion that's laughable. They'll melt at the first sign of actual resistance. I.E. trained police or guardsmen. Not that the threat shouldn't be taken seriously, rather their chances of success are laughable.

It's one thing pointing your gun at to own your "libtard" neighbour, another thing staring down the barrel of a rifle held by someone trained to use it.
A very good point but do remember that they will undoubtedly have support from inside Americas armed forces and state/federal law enforcement, so that it might not so cut and dried that some of the people ordered to protect the Republic actually want to be on the side that want to overthrow it. If you recall, Pence didn't even trust his own Secret Service detail.

Plus there have been accusations that the Republican party is trying to delay the appointment of any replacement senior army officers until after the election in order to make sure 'compliant' personnel can placed in positions of command.

There are serious people planning for this and will be using these gullible idiots who would rather be "Ruled by the Russians than ruled by the Democrats" as their muscle.

Biden needs a crushing, overpowering landslide to prove that he has won. If its only just a small margin then there will be trouble. Big trouble.

That is so obvious, why didn't I think of it!

Awaiting Trump’s reaction to Navalny’s death.

Outright condemnation of Putin’s murderous regime ?

I think not.

Comparing himself to Navalny - an innocent man who is facing prison as a consequence of the politically-driven actions of Biden and his group of thugs.

That’s my bet…

In 2019-20 perhaps even though it failed then.

In 2024 I sincerely doubt it. The Republicans have lost everything in the past four years.

The biggest revelation of the next seven months will be just how little remaining support Trump actually has vs the extreme media scaremongering. Only to be emphasised further as he repeatedly loses trials. Starting today in fact when the bulk of his assets start to go and getting worse as he is convicted of felonies.

Don’t under estimate the fear they feel being pushed further and further in to a corner. I can see a Wako type siege resulting in a very bloody fire fight to the last man.

For sure a handful of lunatic 'patriots' is possible but it is a vastly diminished movement from five years ago.

The media likes to stoke the narrative but there is very little evidence of real numbers today.

The most dangerous people are already in jail like Stuart Rhodes and Enrique Tarrio. The remaining chucklef*cks lack the collective brain power to screw in a lightbulb.

What is there to be afraid of if Biden wins? He's not a communist. He's not even a socialist. Life will go on as usual.

In the US, Penny Mordaunt would be classed as "dangerous Communist Socialist Marxist ANTIFA"

Won the popular vote by a lot and the electoral college votes by a lot last time.

No because that would be possibly accusing Putin - he won't do that. He'll just keep quiet as he has many times before

If you go take a look around, all you'll find is untrue and outlandish statements from Republicans, most of it scaremongering. "He's corrupt" no proof. "Libs want to take your guns/give your job to an immigrant/allow post birth abortion/brainwash your child to be LGBT/blah blah blah". Its all old and incorrect information.

He's far from the best President they've had, but being better than the orange one is a pretty low bar...

Spot on.

Its actually worse than that. I really dont hold anything against the public who vote for the GOP in the vast majority of situations. Its not that they are stupid or uneducated or anything like that. Its that they have been subjected to generations of a highly targeted set of marketing messages that have been built up over time.

The GOP has done a fantastic job of building out the whole 'socialist' thing that its so ingrained it many voters opinions that its going to be hard to counter it. Again, its not the voters fault (in many cases), but when they are forced to listen to this narrative for decades and its around them 24/7 and everywhere they look, its hard to remain impartial.

Republicans are fantastic at messaging. They lie to their base and misrepresent everything yet are extremely effective at communication which hoodwinks millions who don't fact check.

Dems are absolutely sh*t at messaging, this WH particularly so. They have actual and significant achievements yet are utterly inept at conveying them hence the huge disparity in perception. The only effective communicators on the D side are Buttigieg, Newsom, Raskin and some of the youngsters like Crockett and Moskowitz.

We'll hear about a stollen election until the day Trump dies.. and probably beyond. At this stage the hardcore are generational in their thinking.
