There is no good and bad guys. Only Russians looking out for Russia's best interests and the US doing likewise.
They both spy on eachother, they both interfere in elections, they both seed dissent, they both have strategic interests outside their own borders and they both have definitely done and will continue to do unsavory things because they think it will benefit them.
