because he tried to post an alternative view, (shared by roughly half of the US!),
It's not half of the US. trump won the election with around 63 million votes in 2016, from 240 million eligible voters, so around 26.25% of eligible voters chose trump. This makes the USA look slightly less ridiculous than it might appear at first.
So 32.65% of eligible voters chose Biden.
This makes the USA look slightly less ridiculous than it might appear at first.
What's your point?

Well, it doesn't work that way around, since Biden is not a sociopathic, traitorous lunatic, he's not organized an attack on his own country or tried to ignore a deadly pandemic.
Oh ok then. You are quite clearly a well balanced individual capable of having a sensible debate. You sound unhinged, to be quite honest.

Can you point to any inaccuracies?

Yes. We spell organised with a S. Can you point to any inaccuracies?
Apart from that? I don't want to get into a childish argument with you, as that's all it can ever be while you have your pants in a twist. I would love to have a sensible, open debate on the subject but you are seemingly incapable of that. Look at your responses above... only 26.25% etc, silly whataboutery. And that's why this thread ended up the way it did: an echo chamber for a few fringe Brits furious that most Americans voted in the wrong bloke.

I’ve read this thread consistently since the start and thanks Byker here a few times for his huge contributions. Now I see PH has banned him! I’d like to also register my dismay at what seems to be a very poorly reasoned decision.
One less reason to regularly visit PH now, and I gather MX5B also banned from a thread. Just like in the real world, why bother listening to experts (professional or amateur), when we can just all shout a lot and behave like idiots. What an absolute shame on PH.

So we're at an impasse. If you can engage, please do so.

Most Americans did not vote for wrong bloke. Worryingly large number of Americas voted for sociopathic and traitorous lunatic who lost. There is no need to discuss about that at all. That's just a fact which those who voted for him refuse to acknowledge.Grifters have got to continue to grift - Trump begging for more money - Happy Fathers Day losers! - Yahoo! news link

More stories proving the genius of trump....

Even though Byker has almost single-handedly kept this thread running for years, I was always a bit concerned that his propensity for lifting entire quotes and articles from published news sources was going to get him into trouble.
It's been a long standing rule on PH that we weren't supposed to be doing that.

Been away for the weekend - Byker got banned for posting news articles?

Mods - give your heads a wobble for fks sake.

Isn't "entire quotes" an oxymoron? It's been a long standing rule on PH that we weren't supposed to be doing that.
I don't recall anything more than snippets being posted, although some could have been trimmed further. Links to the source were also there (although you can probably find a few cases where they're missing)
The thread's been running long enough (and been well moderated for most of that time) that any issues with his quoting style could have been flagged much earlier.

He's been doing it for over 5 years though without any comment from mods, even though several posted in the threads. Then he received a complete ban from the thread, without any warnings at all. It's been a long standing rule on PH that we weren't supposed to be doing that.
If they're suddenly changing how rules are enforced, it's only fair to give a warning first.

I always felt it was only a matter of time. I'm surprised they let him get away with it for so long.If they're suddenly changing how rules are enforced, it's only fair to give a warning first.
I am always extremely careful if using some other website to back up something I am saying. I certainly don't copy and paste whole tracts of material, as Byker was wont to do.
