Have Kuenessberg, Peston et al been sent this? It would be interesting to see if it gets reported. My bet is that it won't.![](/inc/images/censored.gif)

Surely there must be CCTV footage? If the parents were found to have done this I’d like to see action taken against them as it’s a slur on the great NHS staff
My take on it is that it was an idea from a mum to get some quick dosh from The Mirror, but it got out of hand. Are there any laws about disseminating fake news? If so, who is guilty? Is it The Mirror for not sourcing the story from two independent places? If there was a second source, what was it?
This could become very interesting. It seems that we have a genuine case of fake news that has been reported as fact. Let's see what the media do with it.
It doesn't detract from the fact that Boris showed no empathy, though.

If you are worried about the UK “ceasing to exist” how can you contemplate a vote for Boris? His Brexit plan will put a border down the Irish Sea and heightens the risk of Scottish independence.
I’m no Corbyn supporter but we need to build a fairer society for all. One that works for everyone.
You think Scottish Independence is more likely with BoJo than Corbyn, when the only mathematical way corbyn could get to number 10 is via a pact with Nicola 'don't even pick up the phone for me to put you in power if you're not offering us indyref2' Sturgeon? I’m no Corbyn supporter but we need to build a fairer society for all. One that works for everyone.
You're either deliberately trolling, or utterly clueless about current affairs & widely reported news from the last 2-3 weeks.
Do me a favor and give the 'you need a biscuit' schtick a rest too, it wasn't funny the first time nor any subsequent time(s)

There is no shortage of opportunity. There is however disparity of intelligence & ability (and some of good fortune) - it was and will be ever thus.
It has also long since been the case that the majority of human beings are a) competitive and b) exhibit at least some degree of self interest.
The best option available would therefore seem to be to try and harness those things & understand that since economic activity breeds and multiplies (and generates taxation revenue) the best course of action is therefore to encourage that & not cripple it.
Any alternative suggestions? because It has also long since been proven that Robin Hood's economic model never works & ultimately leaves everyone worse off in the end. The poorest suffer most and first - and then their children & grandchildren end up paying for it.....

Reminds me of once in the office was having an animated arm waving discussion when the office glamourpuss walked into my outstretched arm resulting in the inadvertent copping a feel of the generous and shapely chest. She was remarkably understanding about things as it was clearly an accidental encounter, but I still felt a right tit.
I like what you did there.Carl_Manchester said:

Again. Funny watching him rip into Galloway a while back, it was a bit crude but perfect IMO

The child's mother is now asking that her child's experience is not politicised.
Bit too late for that once youve photographed your child and sent the piccies to the Mirror.
Wife (ED nurse) heard from one of her colleagues who is currently at Leeds that the whole thing was a setup. Bit too late for that once youve photographed your child and sent the piccies to the Mirror.
So now the staff at Leeds General have the joy of the inevitable verbal and physical abuse because someone wanted to score political points and stir up hatred

If the weather is anything to go by, I wonder what the turn out will be? Will it be another hung parliament?

Sooty has a few things to say about GordonEdited by anonymous-user on Monday 9th December 23:09
Seems he has been a bit naughty on occasions.
Once upon a time there was a place called Crystal rd which had some properties on it and it was sold to a council at great cost.
There was a bit of a whiff
A new invigorating broom took over and was adamant that the mystery of the sale price for Crystal Rd and why it was bought would be brought into the open the whiff would be exposed
Except it never ever was as it became clear that there was a bad whiff about it and this bad whiff unfortunately clung to people on various sides of the political divide.
A certain local MP strongly advised the new broom that any exposure would be deeply damaging to all concerned and that a new broom could just as easily brush things into the carpet as it could into open scrutiny
