That females are far less likely to condone violence than males...
As if you didn't know that.
Well I work in the rail sector, all that were present at the time of discussion were in agreement , however probably skewed somewhat as most , of not all staff in the rail industry aren't keen on the public at the best of times. As if you didn't know that.

...The point I'd and others are making is that antagonism and provocation are not mitigating circumstances when a mob or anyone else attacks an individual simply because they are being held up.
If they were molesting your Granny then fair enough.
What is it with you two and damsels in distress? Anyway we digress. So we both agree that a light mob scuffle in the name of instant justice is 'fair enough' in certain circumstances? You and gadgetmac just draw the line above being an obnoxious wker and kicking commuters in the head and everyone else seems to draw it just below....If they were molesting your Granny then fair enough.

He's made a fair point - Everyone also has the right to protest which sometimes means blocking streets and impeding people going about their business I'm afraid.
So if I don't like what you/he say & wish to protest about it you'd consider it acceptable for me to impede you going about your daily life? What if I do the same with your wife, kids, parents, etc? Do you think I have the right to do that? Do you think it's acceptable behaviour? I don't.Agammemnon said:

They talk them down as they are in a precarious position.

Are your wife/kids/parents likely to be trying to drag somebody off the top of a tube train against their will then?

I've seen quite a few grabbed and dragged backwards off bridges. There's a reason people don't do similar with people standing on ledges about to try and commit suicide. They talk them down as they are in a precarious position.

People who are suicidal can sometimes be talked down. People who are in their right mind, but don't give a st that they are stopping you getting to work, or what the personal consequences of that might be, not so much. There's a reason people don't do similar with people standing on ledges about to try and commit suicide. Because not everyone on PH is politically to the right of Genghis Khan.
Relative to XR, who you don't support, no really, everyone is right wing. You live in a bubble if you think the only people utterly sick of these XR clowns are right of center. I think perhaps you're confusing people who work for a living with those on the right.fblm said:
