He is not the first ‘personality’ to express his pov in public that goes against most grains, David Icke.

Seriously? David Icke is an anti-semitic crank and Fox is a has been who tried to glom onto the latest grift and pushed his luck too far.

I'm sure plenty of his views are shared by the majority.

It's being a boorish prick that is holding him back from fuhrerdom.

Wokiness? I can't say I've paid much attention to any other ones he might have.

It’s a very short statement, both personalities are expressing their pov. Both pov are broadly against mass public opinion.

Has Fox perhaps been "radicalised" by his own supporters in the same way Graham Linehan has? Express a slightly controversial view online, realise you are getting some attention, enjoy that attention and play up to it, and then end up believing it and it occupying almost your entire life.

I'm not sure the majority of people think that "woke culture" is a serious problem. A good proportion of those who would immediately answer "yes" would probably change their mind after actually having a think about it.

Indeed.

It's quite funny when you look up what the word means how anyone would be proud to say they're against it and it's a bad thing.

“Broadly against mass public opinion”? David Icke declared himself “Son of the Godhead”, that the world has been taken over by inter dimensional shape shifting reptiles and the “Babylonian Brotherhood” is trying to propel the world to a fascist super state. That’s not about opinion. That’s utter crazy bullst.

I did wonder along those lines along with a few other famous faces who seem to have gone a bit conspiratorial.

Difficult to know at what point it becomes something like that v just some appallingly bad views.

Which is broadly against mass public opinion, not wishing to offend anybody of a sensitive nature.

Graham Linehan would make a great study into how being addicted to twitter can literally ruing your life, mind you i have no sympathy for him or fox, they both seem to value spouting hateful stuff online is more important than anything else, in Linehan’s case he’s lost everything, his friends, family and his career, fox seems to be following the same path.

Fox is self destruction at his finest.

I almost feel sorry for him, as he must be pretty thick to think anything he’s done recently would be anything other than a disaster.

He needs a support mouse or rat then he ne4eds to head to home bargains who have announced they allow pets in.
the doorguys on our local Home bargains wont stand for any of that ste and in the ensuing struggle ratty may well get killed. Even if he survives some evening staff will tt it with a brush
His new campaign will suck in all the liberal larty types and catapult Mr Fox into superstardom. With his odd good lucks and flowing locks he would be great in a regency drama or even a biopic of David Coverdale

Had to look him up

Creator or co-creator of Father Ted and the IT crowd. So looks like it could also be an example of how intolerance to freedom of speech means a society loses its most creative people......

He seems to come under the same category of JK Rowling of someone who is very successful at what they do and then gets targeted by the Trans activists when he doesn't fall into line with ideological orthodoxy. The difference being he didn't have a hundred million in the bank so it messed up his life when he was "cancelled".

Hes nothing like Rowling, do more research on him and what he’s been up to.

He wasn’t Cancelled everything that’s happened to him is of his own doing. He wasn’t targeted by ‘trans activists’ at all, quite the other way round.

He’s done a lot of barmy things (too many to mention in this topic tbh) such as signing up to lesbian dating apps (who welcome trans people) to openly mock people and pretty much call them peodos, sending celebrity friends messages that they are going to pay for their sins of supporting trans rights then posting the messages on his blog, the man has lost the plot.
