The truth is he's a bit of a joke, looks a mess and has a poor track record as a politician. The country simply can't trust him to lead the country which is a real problem for him.
Against he's a bit of a Stalinist, looks a mess, sits on the fence and invites terrorists round for tea.

The country simply can't trust him to lead the country which is a real problem for him.

Won't happen. Much more likely to be a tiny majority or hung if you look at the evidence.

Johnson just isn't serious enough as a politician for the country to take him seriously.
The trouble with this is that Corbyn is worse ... and I'm a lefty (at least by PH standards) ...

If you treat a General Election as a vote for the Party Leader you prefer (and that's not what it's supposed to be) then we have a really really poor choice this year ...

I'm still a bit undecided about my vote direction this coming Thursday.

I've obviously taken into consideration what I consider to be the following swaying points on the two main parties.
....
So it’s a tricky one really
Would make more sense to post that somewhere other than a Tory fanboy forum.
Particularly as our resident tory shills have spaffed it up on the forum already (and no doubt every other forum they can get to) .

The survey and EU disagrees with you.

TBF, I can fully sympathise with this approach, given the choices of PM.

However, as we all know, any PM is only really a mere sock puppet for broader government. That's how I'm justifying it anyway. rolleyes

Most successful London mayor on record.
Compare that to the ol Kahnt and you can see the effect.

Last year for the first time since the 70's London's population decreased as people are leaving in droves.

Because of the current mayor or because a lot of immigrants don't want to be here post brexit ?

According to the statistics those who left were British born (race data was not collected) but indicating at least it was an exodus of native Brits not migrants (that being said, I'm a migrant and I left London last year as well because its become intolerable)

I don't think people leaving a city because of crime, congestion, high costs and an ineffective government is a good thing.
It's push vs. pull and in this case it's push dynamics making them want to leave (and trade in a longer commute) as opposed to pull dynamics from a nicer region or alternative.

Some financial services companies have moved people to Europe.

I don't think the causes are good but I think the effect is although I also think that eventually people will look beyond London for their commute which is even better. Once in Milton Keynes why not head for Birmingham or Manchester rather than London?

I also think not much has anything to do with the mayor despite what jumped up politicians like Ken and Boris may wish us to believe. Which brings us back to this GE and the piss poor two main party leaders (and the rest aren't great) with their absence of believable medium or long term plans for the country as a whole.
