Isn't that an oxymoron? Or was he the high priest of..?What else would you call someone who believes in and wants to run his life, and others' - and organise society and law - by the teachings of some pre-mediaevalist, epileptic, delusional/conniving (delete as appropriate) prophet/charlatan (and repeat) violent, empire building lunatic? The follower of the good and the true? I wouldn't...
But we're not allowed to think such things are we, probably be a knock on my door for the (conflated) racial hate crime now. I'll have to sign a disclaimer no doubt saying I've seen the error of my ways and that the ludicrous beliefs, laws and cultures of the fanatically superstitious are as worthy as any other.
Of course, there's plenty of idiots amongst the non-religious too.

Many things have lead to this but none are related to finding, or losing, God. What's the relevance of your point?
IF you read back you'll find I've actually never once stated anything about finding God specifically, moreso the values of Christianity and what they've evolved into through time. They have been pivotal to the development of the western world whether you like it or not and they became intertwined in our way of life. What I mean is that we are losing these values and that is a major factor in the rise of our modern society's ills. We don't have to believe in 'sky pixies' to understand and cherish these things, no matter how some feel that they can't take one without the other. Perhaps Cameron could have been a little more clever in saying we need to rediscover and consolidate our British values and way of life (borne of Christianity) as the mention of God or religion puts the willies up some people.DJRC said:
