I'm in two minds about it.

I recognise it might make people moderate their behaviour but think it's unfair attention for doing something a bit stupid. I don't think she comes across as nasty or vicious just someone who has made a mistake and is panicking because she's being filmed.
You don't think she (or her joke of a bloke other half) comes across as nasty or vicious?

Ok.

I can understand the bit about the filming. But threatening to make a false allegation to the Police crossed the line by a very, very long way.

Exactly - and then she had the audacity to say she was going to involve the Police. Shirley if anyones to be prosecuted, it should be her?!

Actually think people like this ought to be charge for wasting police time. I'm sure the police are tired of every tt with a telephone ringing them up to sort out their petty squabbles. It's not like they don't have enough customers as it is, and with fewer staff these days.

It was a bit daft but is completely forgiveable to park where she did. Hundreds of millions of people around the globe have filmed equally trivial but silly things on their phones.

It is legal to film people and the video would almost certainly not have been uploaded if she had not started acting like the determined, angry and bulling person she became harassing the camera man when their paths coincided as they did.

Her husband made it even worse.

Imagine if everyone (or anyone!) acted the way she did every time a camera was pointed in their direction. The world would never have known who she was if she hadnt chosen to have such an unbelievably dramatic, completely over the top, verbally abusive (I watched suspecting violence was seconds away) reaction.

If I got out of my car and intimidated a woman in the way she intimidated the camera man, Im quite sure I would have been arrested.

I feel she got absolutely exactly what she deserved. She made a spectacle, and ultimately it was of herself. Id be ashamed if my own mother or any member of my family acted the way she did.

Stupid, stupid woman. Perfectly suited to her mug of a husband though! hehe

I disagree with this part, it was extremely selfish and stupid to block the traffic in the manner that she did, even if it was only for a couple of minutes. Agree with the rest of your post though.

I think he meant to say unforgiveable. His post reads that way, at least.

The two lorries on the other side of the road were also parked on double yellow, which didn't help with the access.
Which I understand is perfectly legal as long as they are loading/unloading and there are no kerb markings in force?

No excuse for her nose-in nonsense. Even parking lengthways along the cone 'lay by' would have been cheeky, but far less obstructive.

The road is closed for a reason. She aint anywhere near her shop, it is on broad street if the youtube comments have anything to go by. Looking at the map she was trying to make a short cut down the high street rather than go around queens square and come back on herself eventually dropping onto walcot street and around onto broad street, she could then park bang outside her own shop, where, on this occasion it would be more sensible to park even if there is rear access (?). Problem solved. Not that it should have been one in the first place.

This is what gets me, what if there is a real crisis one day? how will humanity cope if this kind of triviality causes so much aggravation.
I was in the supermarket the other day, in the dairy isle, some woman was in a flap, a minute or two later my wife rounded the isle and said "ooh they advertised a deal for yogurts on the tv, 10 for £2" Sure enough there were non left on the shelf, so I said "we should have arrived earlier" and we both walked off to continue shopping - it was at this point that I noticed the woman fretting was doing so because there were no yogurts left, she was virtually pulling her hair out and going on about 'trading standards' and 'false advertising' to her equally horrified husband.
Do people even have a fking clue what a real problem is thesedays?????

Both of them are complete numpties. The woman in the car is stupid for having blocked the whole road, not caring for anyone else, and constantly repeating "why are you filming me" the guy filming sounds like an idiot towards the end as he is waisting everyones time, even though it may not be illegal to film someone if they asked to have it deleted it is only respectful, and even if he didn't delete it he could have stopped filming. then the wife's husband is actually an idiot "why you taping me... why you taping me..." (whatever taping means) and the fact that people decide to call it an assault if they are so much as breathed on you is pathetic. why do people love creating a HUGE fuss about the smallest most pitiful situations.

The film maker is wasting no-ones times. He filmed something and then left, and was accosted as he was leaving, he wasn't fully stopped but was impeded. His time was wasted, as were the peoples time in the queue. I do not see why deleting someone's selfish and ignorant actions should be considered respectful, especially of someone who is threatening you, extremely rude, and willing to lie about you to the police. He also is well within his rights to continue filming once the aggressive behaviour started, a wise precaution in my opinion considering the rough quality of the couple.

The woman was a selfish arrse, and made matters worse when she realised her selfishness was being filmed. Had she not reacted (or simply apologised) it's unlikely the video would have been even uploaded let alone watched.

The guy doing the filming reacted in the way that he did (I think) to effectively stop being attacked/beaten up by the woman and her husband. It isn't the way most of us would speak/behave if we weren't filming the situation - he's basically doing the "rattlesnake" thing, just warning them not to go too far.

All IMO of course smile

On a more general note if selfish actions like these aren't ridiculed/exposed it just encourages other people.

I agree. The film-maker wanted to make off with as little trouble as possible. I think the horrible couple were lucky he was an amiable sort.
Yes, this women and her sort just walk over people, if you let them do it with not even a nod of recognition, will they stop of their own accord or continue, or get worse?

And a nice review:

"this is a real review of the business. I, my wife, and our 2 daughters were in Bath on a weekend in December to see the sights and get some last minute Christmas shopping done. An avid knitter, my wife was thrilled to find this shop, but her elation soon turned to frustration by the way that she was treated by the woman in the shop - the same woman in the now famous Bath Road Rage video. To begin with, she refused to acknowledge our presence for several minutes as she was so engrossed in a private conversation with a friend on her mobile. When she finally got off the phone, my wife politely asked her about a particular wool that she was looking for, the owner then held up a hand and said, "I'll be with you in a minute" and she promptly disappeared into the back of the store. When she returned after several minutes, my wife again politely repeated her request and the woman then said something along the lines of, "No, we don't have that, I'm sorry, will there be anything else?" and she said this with an unmistakable and challenging FU look in her eyes. Until the road rage video came to light, we wrote off this most unpleasant encounter to the chance that she was just having a bad day, but no more. Clearly, being an officious, odious, and despicable person is a matter of course for this woman, and up until now she has gotten away with it. Now, my wife is from Dublin, and she couldn't be sure, but she thinks that the shop owner is typical of a most obnoxious and despicable type of Irish business woman (the shop owner's accent was somewhere between laughably wannabe posh English and elite and conceited Irish) - self-centered, condescending, inconsiderate, haughty, and just downright rude. There are other places to buy knitwear in Bath - I can only respectfully ask that everybody reading this review will do the right thing and give their custom to a more deserving person."

How does a knitting shop return a good enough profit to drive a nice looking Audi A5?
