What on earth does that have to do with anything?
Do bear in mind that this is the same FrankyH who started the immigration thread recommending that the we repatriate immigrants and claiming that White Britons are facing genocide in the UK.

I think he/she is probably a troll trying to find out how many people he/she can get to agree with his/her extreme statements. Quite a few by the look of the immigration discussion,
The thought had occurred to me, but I was reticent to simply come out and ask him about his seeming racist drivelling.

I didn't want to get involved in the immigration thread really, other than to take the piss a bit. It was obviously more about race and skin colour to FrankyH than immigration. I'm glad that other PH'ers have challenged FrankyH but disappointed that he/she seems to have quite a few fellow travellers here too.

The older I get the more I realise than some people are just irredeemably stupid, foul and bigoted. Their parents probably were too though and as much as I'd like to dedicate a lot of time to arguing with these fools I just end up making myself unhappy and angry.

People are people, in general. They all want and seek the same thing, and frankly man made borders do not diminish that.

Thing is, in the 80s as a primary school kid we all knew the 'can't touch me I'll have ya for assault' line.

Difference was, my parents would have told me to pipe down or get a clip...

All the stories in this thread have one common denominator - st, entitlement loving parents.

The sooner parents get punished for their kids crimes/misdemeanors, the better. See how quickly things change when instead of hurling abuse at a copper for bring Chaznay home with a telling off for shoplifting, the parents had their benefits cut by the value of the attempted theft...

We really do need to create a culture of individual and collective responsibility in this country.

For too long it's been acceptable to blame someone or something else.

Back O/T, the perpetrator in this sick tale should be given over into the caring bosom of the local Catholic priest.

That'll teach the little a lesson.

And the judge removed from the Bench.

Anyway, my point is that fee paying schools are more likely to hang on to awkward kids, they're worth too much money.
Rubbish. I've worked in maintained schools and fee-paying private schools in classroom and non-classroom positions and in one with authority to exclude.

The maintained 'comp' school may wish to exclude the child but more often or not it'll go to LEA appeal and the school will be 'forced' to take the child back regardless of the Head's original decision. In fee-paying schools, the decision of the Headmaster is final and I've seen children excluded from fee-paying schools for reasons they wouldn't even get a slap on the wrist from in a maintained school.

Your reasoning may appear sound, but any 'decent' fee-paying school will have a waiting list for most years and there will normally be another pupil to take the place of one that has been expelled.
More than two decades of teaching under my belt and, yes, I've seen kids expelled from fee paying schools and I've also seen kids expelled from one comp after another until they land up in a special unit.
Different LEA's/school foundations run things differently. Doesn't mean either of us talking rubbish - unless you're calling me a liar?
Just means the world of secondary education is a bit more complex than people tend to think and knee jerk answers don't always work.

That's totally outrageous. Judges seem to come to some really thick conclusions sometimes; what qualifications, exactly, does one require to become a judge?
Traditionally either a penchant for S&M/B&D or young boys, much like priests. However paedophilia may also know be a 'hobby' of theirs as this would be the only reasonable explanation for his judgement.

Under no circumstances is there ever an explanation for this persons actions. Most males watch porn, in fact I'd say a sizeable percentage of the population whack-off daily or a few times a month to internet porn. Yet events like this are extremely isolated and I'd say statistically similar to prior to the internet. So clearly the judge is wrong.

He also has a face that seems to invite punching. Whilst I'm on violence, if I was the father I'd certainly be making plans for that boy, I'd be making sure he never slept soundly for the rest of his very short life.
That's exactly what I thought when I read the story! Too much empathy for the offender methinks...
You may be right, my wife showed me these links from another forum relating to this case. There appears to be a pattern forming.

Nope.
Two out of three of the chaps above are Oxbridge men.
If you need someone to explain the difference, you probably wouldn't understand...

Not good on the judge's part, this won't end well for him...
