Indeed. A genius move and seemingly so easy.

With PM it is important to not confuse a lack or morality with a lack of intelligence.
The ironic thing is that Jones spends the greater part of his time shouting about media manipulation and how mainstream outlets control the news agenda, yet was so intent on listening to the sound of his own voice that he totally failed to spot that's exactly what was happening to him! The beauty of the whole thing is how subtle that manipulation was. Morgan managed to steer the debate by doing nothing more than giving Jones enough rope. He can therefore counter any claims he tried to twist the debate by pointing out he said very little and kept trying to keep things on topic, and that it was Jones who sought to dominate proceedings and go off on all manner of tangents. There's little to like about Piers Morgan, but I have grudging admiration for just how clever a set up that was.

Yup. The best stitch ups are where you don't take the point home yourself but leave it all wide open for the media the next day to finish the job.

PM is a very smart cookie. It's one of the many things that make him so detestable.

Holy Moley. That is like opening a door marked " Crazy people missing the point" and walking straight in.

Love the country and much of the people there. But Amerikins can sure be crazy.

The whole country exists in some weird, three dimensional perception distortion bubble. It is as if millions of people are wearing glasses that mess up with their perspective of the world, renders them stupid, and makes them bark at shadows.

I know one must never read the comments on Youtube postings, but... some of these are beyond the pale.

I didn't think it was that that much of a set up- it was pretty predictable actually- but no less entertaining.
Alex Jones is a moron but the truth is that no amount of damage done by him or this cringe-making display will make the slightest bit of difference to the overall debate.
People like him simply dont listen- and ignore facts- and just shout and raise their voices to get heard. They cannot seem to understand that no one wants to ban all guns- its about control of access to certain weapons by certain people- but this seems too hard to grasp for the terminally thick.
PM has come out of this well, and its clear many people including myself are finding it uncomfortable agreeing with him- however he is right on this issue and has shown some backbone that I thought never existed- especially as he must be under intense pressure there.- I reckon he will get shot.

Anyway good to watch and thanks for the link
