Gary Hartstein posting on Twitter seemed to think the way the hospital and PR people are managing information about his condition was unusual and not a good sign. He does however confess to knowing nothing more about MSCs condition than the rest of us.

I was never a fan of his when he was a driver. To me he epitomised so much that was wrong about modern sport. But outside of the car he was always a gent, from what I've read.

Have friends with a place in Meribel and heard earlier about 7 that this was life threatening and was being treated as a serious incident by the local authorities.

Far more endearing since he became a motorcyclist, an all round good egg now IMO, so fingers crossed he'll pull through.

BBC news just reported that Schumacher was in a coma when he arrived at the hospital, which (if true) would be a lot worse than being put into an induced coma.
