Well that escalated quickly.
Lord Heseltine has suggested that voting for Brexit is the same as handing victory to Germany, 70 years after the Nazis were defeated in World War II
If Tarzan can invoke Godwin's Law does that mean I can mention Quisling without getting a ban?Lord Heseltine has suggested that voting for Brexit is the same as handing victory to Germany, 70 years after the Nazis were defeated in World War II

Seems to have lost sight of reality and the meaning of the term democracy. Sad really.

Surprisingly many of them believed that they were doing a good thing by `unifying' Europe under one leader. If Heseltines comments are to be believed, it seems he would have been working for Mr H on the inside of the Atlantic wall.

He's lost the bloody plot!
If I never heard another word from Remoaning Heseltine again - or the money-swilling Branson, or the Bliar creature, or Mandelswine, or the Miller telling her tale, or Tim Dum Farron, or Cleggyclogs, or the Kinncocks...
it would be too soon.
He's got a point. Leaving is a defeatist and cowardly action which is quite uncharacteristic of this great country. If I never heard another word from Remoaning Heseltine again - or the money-swilling Branson, or the Bliar creature, or Mandelswine, or the Miller telling her tale, or Tim Dum Farron, or Cleggyclogs, or the Kinncocks...

Other nations can only dream of having the influence we do at the top table in Europe. We're throwing that away.

Fair play, I couldn't disagree with you more strongly, but each are entitled to express thier POV.
I prefer to see the UK leaving a sinking ship which is stuffed full with idealistic beaurocratic suits, most of whom are so removed from the reality of the real World and consequences of thier actions it's incredible the project has lasted as long as it has.

How many EU decisions have we been able to change with our enormous voting power there at the "top table".
