Or a family unaware of what their adult son who doesn't live at home does in his spare time, who's lives have now been destroyed by what happened last night.
Stay classy.
Maybe, we will see! My money is on the fact that if he is out at 5.30am vandalising trains he is unlikely to be a young professional renting in London? Stay classy.
I've grown disenfranchised with the media/politicians tweeting about these "victims" and their families, treating them as innocent youths with entirely unpreventable deaths no one could have seen coming. Playing on train tracks, stolen cars, mopeds, drugs, knifes... But nope "sympathises with the families during this difficult time..."
Why not start asking publicly why the kids were up to no good, and where were the families trying to prevent it? Why not start holding them accountable & lessons for others. As keeps getting repeated... Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Let their deaths be a lesson to other families & friends who wilfully assume their "cheeky chappie Tyrone" is still out at 5am on a Monday morning simply because he enjoys dancing in the moonlight....

What a load of nonsense in this thread after the passing away of 3 people.
People make mistakes when they are young. Unfortunately, this mistake has cost them their lives. Thoughts go out to the family and friends of those who passed away.
Any thoughts for the driver who hit them without knowing about it and the one who subsequently found their bodies, or those tasked with picking up the pieces afterwards?People make mistakes when they are young. Because no 20 year old in the history of the species has ever lied to their parents about where they were going and who they were with.
Quite possibly, and I will apologies if this is the case, I do doubt it though. Edit;
Gurdian Linked to a "UK graffiti" Instagram, reading through the comments do little to change my opinion of these "gifted artists"....

As somebody that does occasional work on track I will stress that you don't f
k about on them. Track working teams have people that are dedicated to looking out for oncoming traffic and even with an early-warning system, a train is almost on top of you in no time at all. What these poor buggers did was practically suicide.

I dealt with the death of a working gang lookout. He'd blown his horn to warn the gang of an oncoming express and walked down towards them - between the lines the train was on. It was in a deep cutting with a number of lines all converging into the distance so wasnt easy to see what line the train was on. He'd done the job for years and was caught out![](/inc/images/censored.gif)

Maybe so, assuming they weren't there for a legitimate reason (workers), but IMO nobody deserves to be killed as a "silly prize" for being stupid.....Graffiti or similar perhaps?
What does “deserve” mean here though? It looks like three people were breaking the law, got too close to a train, and the inevitable happened.
No-one opted to kill them, they did something stupid and it went wrong.
Do you “deserve” to die if you jump off the top of a multi-storey car park, or is that just what happens if you do?

This is true. I did Geography as I fancied a girl who picked it, and then once I drank half a bottle of QC Sherry as the other lads were doing the same.People make mistakes when they are young.
Most people make mistakes like this, but no-one decent trespasses on the railway to graffiti it. That is not a mistake, it is a choice to be a criminal.

BBC describes them as ‘artists’. Not vandals and trespassers. That’s not helping.
The needless deaths of three young people is sad. That they died for such a pointless expression of what is nothing but vandalism and adds nothing to the culture of this country is also sad as it’s a waste and is pointless. Spraying your ‘tag’ around your home area is simply making a mark like a dog pissing on a fence post. It’s not art. It’s ‘look at me’ not ‘look at my talent and message’.

I see it that they didn't 'deserve' to die because they are graffitologists, but like someone crossing a road without looking, died by doing something reckless.
But “deserve” only applies if someone killed them for it, which is not the case here. They committed suicide through criminal stupidity.James_B said:

You missed the bit where none of this will actually happen, Gammon......................
Bedwetting snowflake alert!!No doubt this was simply a case of vibrant and diverse, non-conformist, urban YP artists who were cruelly murdered by a heartless Tory train, no doubt driven at them personally by Theresa May.
