He’s an ideologue with strong opinions.
Some I agree with and some I don’t.
That’s the way I feel about the greens in general tbh.
If there was a left wing progressive party that wasn’t quite so Birkenstock middle class I’d probably be there instead.
A roaster, hypocrite and bandwagon-jumping opportunist is what he is.Some I agree with and some I don’t.

So you agree that it’s a hyperbolic hit piece for a rag of a newspaper and can be ignored as such?
That's not what I wrote, but thanks for the heads up to ignore any further comments from you.hidetheelephants said:

How's about substantiating that assertion.
Also, let us not lose sight of the fact that Scottish Nationalism (like all forms of nationalism) is predicated on xenophobia, and Scottish Nationalists express prejudicial views with impunity on a regular basis (see the 'kick Tories out of Scotland' comment earlier).
I belive i am the ultra right wing bible thumbing trump voting transphobe who should be jailed for the rest of my life because of my disgusting hate speechAlso, let us not lose sight of the fact that Scottish Nationalism (like all forms of nationalism) is predicated on xenophobia, and Scottish Nationalists express prejudicial views with impunity on a regular basis (see the 'kick Tories out of Scotland' comment earlier).

He cares far more about FANTASTIC 100% WOMEN WHO ARE BRAVING STRUGGLING AGAINST THE MASSIVE TRANSPHOBIA OF TORY BRITIAN than men with jobs
Jesus, is there any threads here where people won’t be gross about trans women.the point stands
his priorites are vastly different to the scummy voters
women with "a euphemism for a penis that might be similar to a male chicken" ( i hope that isn't a hate crime to assume the gender of a chciken)
So banging the report button is actually a bit dim
As i am accepting it is perfectly normal for women to have a penis
But i now know it is basically a hate crime to mention it
Thought i haven't checked in the past 30 seconds what transphobia actually is
Well done
EDIT: I suspect you may not have long for this thread...

Appear to be thin skinned idiots who would rather push the report button than to actually debate
Oh boy are they in for a rude shock when scotland gets its independence
I do wonder who will they report the EU to when the EU insist on using the rules the EU have written about EU membership which are clearly stated on the EU website
Here is the proof Sturgeon is way out of her depth and utterly incompetent. Her tier system said areas had to be below 50 cases per 100k before they could move from tier 3 to 2, but take a look at the latest stats, no area in Scotland qualifies, but all of them are below tier 0. What a disaster. Now she is self isolating whilst the latest figures showing covid is now rampant in Scotland. And lest we forget...this is the woman that boasted 13 months ago that she would shortly have covid eliminated from Scotland.
Not boasting much about the figures today Nicola are you. Resignation long overdue, you and your inept administration have failed Scotland on a monumental scale.

Some of the local area figures from yesterday are incredible - the Kirkintilloch/Stepps/Moodiesburn area is around the 2000/100k mark, parts of Fort William are over 2000/100k and Rothesay is nearly 3000/100k.
Clearly the masks are working then.

EDIT - if you want an even bigger laugh as to how successful the Scottish Government are just now, have a look at the 4 nations together - https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/cases?_ga=... - choose 2nd graph, by nation, then 1 month. Ignore the last couple of days, the Welsh stats in particular don't add up. 26 August for example, 29,417 cases in England, 4,925 in Scotland. I keep coming back to Chris Whitty's comments about being better to get the exit wave out the way when the weather is good & the schools are on holiday. Not keep everything restricted until just before the schools go back as she's chosen to do. It's stored up the most immense avalanche of st that's all being released at once. The only hope is that, as in England a few weeks ago, it fades away quickly, though there's no signs of that just now. No doubt even if it does fade away, we'll still be stuck with the fking useless rags over the face for the foreseeable.

The figures are so high I find it easier to convert to percentages in my head now. Almost 2% of Scottish 16-24 year olds have tested positive in the last week
The 16-24 year olds all went back to school or college and will be doing more tests on themselves so there will be more cases found. Sturgeon said.... "Relieved to report that my PCR test is negative. Coupled with fact I’m double vaccinated - with second dose more than 2 weeks ago - that means I no longer need to isolate. I’ll still be doing regular LFD tests as added precaution tho - and encourage everyone else to do likewise."
Well done to the test team for being able to turn around the PCR test result by Monday morning when she was only notified on Sunday evening that she had been in close contact.
With the virus now out of control in Scotland it will be good if everyone can rely on such a service.

That's why the % positive tests is the important parameter. It's gone from 5 to 15%.A friend tested last weekend, waited a couple of days for the result and then another 6 for track and trace to call. Sturgeon could be waiting a while…
