It's amazing, this story led the news last night and the BBC spent a full five minutes on it. It's just golf FFS!

The headlines are a welcome relief from the incessant drone of Brexit stories, though.

It’s not even talent. It’s the result of tens of thousands of hours of practice and dedication - a lot of hard work made this happen.

Great to watch the Tiger back!

Yes, but why were the TV pundits referring to spectators as 'patrons'?

It's one of the weird rules the masters has, one of many.

That's how the organisers have been referring to 'spectators', right back to the inaugural event.

It's just one of many quirks & traditions unique to The Masters.

Because they know how much Augusta charges for a spectator's ticket !

If you can land an official ticket, they're less than £90 per tournament day.

I'd happily pay that !

It's all part of keeping Augusta separate from all other sporting events.... even separate from other golfing tournaments.

I must admit, the Rat was the first name that came to my mind with all the fluff stories this morning.

The Last Rites beats spinal fusion surgery in my book...

I am a keen golfer, and you are so right. Great golfer and I enjoy watching someone with his skill level playing, but that's it. It's only golf, he's not the messiah and all the Media tosh we are going to have to endure for the next 6 months will probabaly be unbearable. I shall be avoiding at all costs.
