is it good news though is it really, its not like he will be sharing a cell with charles bronson or endure a stay in oswold state correctional facility.....this guy is going to get the hilton hotel treatment in prison....
Yeah, right. This guy has 18 months of hell coming up. Ex cops are not popular in prison. And the screws have no reason to be nice. So why is he suddenly going to get any sort of special treatment? If anything, it'll be worse. And true to form the lefties are still defending him -

She does come across a bit 'slow'.
Good thing it wasnt a genuine incident where a senior officer really was in trouble.

Anyone know if he will still get his police pension?
"The Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) will eventually be responsible for deciding what happens to him.""The MPA has the power to sack Dizaei, as well as forcing him to give up all or part of pension"

What is most interesting about this case is not how a senior policeman was found guilty of abuse of authority but how a corrupt police officer who happened to be asian was able to gain promotion and avoid sanction for any misdemeanor (until finally caught) by playing the race card.
This whole affair was in the shadow of the macphearson report, which crippled the MET.
