I've missed a bit, what was racist about it?

What was racist about using a symbol famously used by racists for a joke?

That seems a bit insensitive.

We don't have laws on Nazi iconography, I thought because we didn't think a symbol was inherently racist, context used to matter. Even Germany allows swastikas in video games now - is that because they're racist?

Getting banned again is probably just as satisfying for him as posting that in the first place.

We don't have laws but if you went to someone's house and they had a swastika flag up you'd think they were a wrong'un. Context does matter, using a swastika in a historical context to depict Nazis is accepted, using a swastika you specifically made to get a reaction is at best questionable.

I don't need laws to tell me why I think Fox used that.

He's trying to make a comparison to Nazi Germany.

Not quite sure that displaying the Pride logo in Pride month is comparable to trying to wipe out an entire race but if you want to stick up for his right to post that st you fill your boots.

As everyone knows, he's not very bright, so whether he thinks a Swastika is funny or not we should just ignore him.

We should just feel sorry for him.

So tell us. What context do you think he was going for there?

And the context of this use is? Is he trying to say that celebrating pride is somehow akin to living in Nazi Germany? Could that be considered a 'tad' offensive to the memory of millions of persecuted people who died under Nazi rule? He's comparing a few rainbow flags on twitter to living under fascist dictatorship. He's an idiot.

I can understand why LF did it - he's an attention seeking asshole, but I can't work out why anybody seeing this specific piece of anti-virtue signalling dog-whistling would leap to his defence?

I assumed, maybe I'm wrong, that he was just following the well worn path to invoke Godwin's law. Which, while not something many people are fans of, isn't normally considered racist, because it isn't a celebration of the Nazis but the opposite, a comparison drawn because it's about the most distasteful comparison the average person can reach for.

Unless I've got the wrong end of the stick and he's really an LGBT and Nazi fan.

I'd suggest invoking Godwin's law against a group targeted by the Nazi's is perhaps missing the point of Godwin's law

Who, prior to this post, said it was racist? If you are replying to my post I said he was racist, not that this is racist. It’s homophonic, transphobic, offensive, moronic and tasteless, but not definitely racist (although it could be).

Fox, however, is racist, as shown by his previous behaviour.

I think the point is that Fox was the Godwiner himself, rather than him accusing the LGBT community of a Godwin.

Then I misinterpreted your post.

This doesn’t scream mental health crisis to me, it says he’s a bit of a knob and a racist homophobe who has got caught up in a bunch of similar “anti woke” crazies that tells him this is a good thing.
But it seems others agreed that it was racist, even if you didn't think that. Or they're just being typically NP&E argumentative.

Fair enough. I see how my post could be interpreted in that way. I just meant he was in general a racist.
