Why would they need to?
We have been told time and time again in this thread that what you have downstairs doesn't determine what sex or gender you are.
It plays a large part in determining biological sex and I don't think anybody has denied that. Time and time again in this thread you and others have refused to acknowledge the established definition of gender that has been in place for 100s of years and instead choose to ignorantly and entirely erroneously conflate it with sex. We have been told time and time again in this thread that what you have downstairs doesn't determine what sex or gender you are.

See if you can quote an example of someone saying genitalia doesn't make up a large part of defining biological sex. I'll wait.Davos123 said:
You really need to type "what is gender?" Into Google and do 10 mins of reading before spouting nonsense like this.
Hmmmm.Google top result says:
gender
/ˈdʒɛndə/
Learn to pronounce
noun
either of the two sexes (male and female), especially when considered with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones. The term is also used more broadly to denote a range of identities that do not correspond to established ideas of male and female.
"a condition that affects people of both genders"

How is the quoted post above in any way unpleasant? Its an accurate review of the state of affairs in this thread.
In the opinion of someone like yourself who should have been banned from this thread a long time ago then yes, it would be.There are plenty of things I don't like and have an opinion on, like banoffee pie. The difference being if a thread popped up about banoffee pie I wouldn't constantly be on it stating how I found it disgusting and how on earth could others like banoffee pie.
It's obvious you have a problem with the subject of this thread. Why do you feel the need to keep coming on here?

You should do some further reading on this part. Try the wikipedia page for a start.Google top result says:

Born with a cock - man
Born with a snatch - woman
Born with a sense of feeling different? - take your pick and spend the rest of time arguing that there is no such thing as gender and babies are born without gender.

I think you should read those posts more carefully as your interpretation of them is off the mark.![](/inc/images/censored.gif)

It didn't. You're not paying me so I'm not your tutor and you can do your own reading and research but if you want to have a debate about gender you should understand what the word means - you clearly don't. ![](/inc/images/censored.gif)

George, you've been on this thread long enough that you have been spoon-fed all the links and references you need, so getting a strop on and demanding it all over again is just being wilfully obstreperous. ![](/inc/images/censored.gif)
Personally I feel you're no longer interested in debate (if indeed you ever were) and just want to be disruptive now.

I'm guessing there have been a few thread bans as it's gone very quiet in here of late...
Maybe you're right. I confess I too thought it had gone a bit quiet but hadn't really thought about it. I just assumed people had finally given up. Frankly I'm weary of the whole thing anyway.

Hasn't really been any discussion going on, just caterwaul. My biology book just got to sexual development in fetuses, it's pretty interesting reading just how many ways it can go wrong, and also how certain parts of the genitals in both sexes spring from the same lump of tissue and others don't. A clitoris does in fact come from the same place that would otherwise form a penis, labia minora an unjoined scrotum. The vagina, ovaries and testes however are totally unique developments in their respective male or female fetus. The body decides very early on what sex you should be and tries to make it happen, but it sometimes gets stuck along the way due to a few proteins not doing the thing they're supposed to.

Funny you should say that, but I distinctly remember being on a beach holiday during puberty, and as I came out of the water my nipples were tingling. I mentioned it to my dad (a doctor) and he somewhat glibly said "Oh, that's just your body deciding if you are a boy or a girl" and then went on to mention how much commonality there was. Of course, he didn't actually mean that it wasn't already determined (much to my disappointment). Still a bit annoyed with him for raising that false hope actually. LOL.
