The real dumbasses are the voters who do not understand how our parliamentary system works ,you can have all the individual votes you like as a party but if they are not in the right constituencies to win the marginal seats you won't be able to form a majority government. as happened to the tories last time out.
Pretty sure most voters can't choose where they vote...
Students hence why you say most? Some even vote twice I hear.

Every election is a circus.
There's no point in wasting your time. Left, of more left.
We ran out of democracy a long time ago.

I thought a poll would work better as most brexit threads only have the same 5 people fighting constantly. Here they/we/whoever can only vote once,
Cameron thought that once too.

I'm shocked. I am a European lawyer and a staunch remainer and the general feel amongst my colleagues and contemporaries is that if we had a second referendum tomorrow, remain would walk it. Truly shocked at the number that would vote Brexit despite the shambles that it is and the cost to society and to individuals.
You can shove your Ill-judged highly tedious meme. The guy is bang on the money.

I can quite believe what he says is bang on the money amongst 'his' colleagues and contemporaries - ffs, he's (or says he is) a European lawyer.

Fwiw, I'm a staunch Leaver. I couldn't give a toss what he or you think.

There won't be a second referendum (the 2016 one was the 'second', the 'first' was back in 75 - if you'd lived long enough you'd realise that.).
Plus, remoaners don't like 'referendums' (probably because they lost the last one) that's why they want to call it a 'people's vote'.

What a load of old falafel
I’m not a ‘remoaner’ whatever that is
I voted remain and would again but do t support a second ref just as I didn’t with the Scottish one where the right result was achieved
The guy above is fully entitled to be aghast at the stupidity of people like you who would plunge the country into darkness to satisfy some deluded notion of ‘sovereignty’

A growing economy, which is what even the most pessimistic projections predict = 'plunged into darkness'?

I watched country file last night.

They were on a pig farm and the brexit subject came up. They'd voted Leave, in the belief that people would buy British and support the farmers. They now realise that a no deal is more likely to introduce cheap pork from low welfare USA sources. They don't think they'll be able to compete so hoping we have a deal or CU.

I imagine plenty in that situation.

What we really need is another vote to get this over the line one way or another.

If it gets to claims another vote being required it MUST be ignored.

This is parliament trying desperately to side step the ONLY issue. It does not have the authority to overrule the result of the vote taken in 2016, it never has, and can never be allowed to get away with this nonsense.
