That was always the case. It was the UK’s inability to state with sufficient detail our preferred trade package that the WA was required. This is as a direct result of triggering A50 without a strategy/plan.

I think just about every vocal Remain MP (bar Clarke voted to hold a referendum, so don't forget a couple of hundred other Remain dolts for you to blame and be angry at.

Davis is on record that he first saw the details may presented at chequers just a few days before, the rest of the cabinet saw it at chequers. It had fook all to do with Davis or his department.

I think, though I might be wrong, that a deal will be done at the 11th hour, which may or may not throw Ireland under the bus

If nothing else, many Leavers (and probably a good proportion of the electorate generally) should be fairly happy with Boris's performance as PM so far. That in itself is far better than many on PH were expecting.
