Protesters blocking various M25 Junctions
Discussion
The police need their leaders to give them good instructions and protect them from idiots.
Watching a video today, one protester screaming when they put the cuffs on him that they were injuring him as he has a V3 V4 spine problem and it was painful.
You could see the coppers looking at each other not really knowing what to do. The protester was screaming and I bet the people filming this were wanting them to drag him off so they could claim brutality etc.
Who would be a copper knowing if they get it wrong they will be thrown to the wolves. Other police use more force and when they are glued to the floor drag them off. If we did the same here they would soon stop

The older I get, the more I empathise with the guy.
I'm 50 years old now and I totally get it as well. A lifetime of having to deal with these sort of entitled idiots and the st that goes with being a wage slave and I am amazed more people don't just go postal. One day they are going to ps off someone who has literally nothing to lose and he is going to run these idiots over.

Greenpeace, responsible for more emissions than ExxonMobil*:"Greenpeace has always fought – and will continue to fight – vigorously against nuclear power because it is an unacceptable risk to the environment and to humanity. The only solution is to halt the expansion of all nuclear power, and for the shutdown of existing plants."

Yes,yes you have. In the absence of being allowed to grab a couple at a time by the scruff of the neck and drag them to the van. You need 40 police to carry 10 people to a van if they are doing their play dead but not resisting thing. That takes time.
Just drag them by the ankle if they don't take the option to walk. Any consequent injuries can be on them rather than on the police. If the protesters disobey a legal request to move off the carriage way themselves perhaps a water cannon to flush them into the gutters might be appropriate.

Random examples, protestor pours milk all over a shop floor, shop has to shut its doors and stop trading while clean up. There's a cost, incl loss of trade.
Protestor sprays orange paint over some building, smashes glass, whatever. Cost of clean up, repairs.
Stop being so effing limp wristed and put them into a civil recovery process for the damage caused. Lot of these protestors will have assets. Once they're facing real consequences and not something that's not much worse than a strongly worded email then might start to use whatever is in here keeping their ears apart.

As I keep saying, all these protests for whatever have consequences which cost someone.

There well off people funding these groups knowing full well that they are funding vandalism and disruption.

Looks like there is someone to sue for damages if you have been suitably wronged by the muppet brigade.

This popped up in my news feed. No idea how recent, but a nice dose of karma.
What could they be prosecuted for causing an accident.
Several comments calling it attempted murder.

As I said previously, organisations like JSO weaponise social media to brainwash and recruit. The Met using the platform as part of their overall strategy is absolutely correct and commendable. They are effectively cutting off support at the root. They are running low on funds
