Saw that and it really made me laugh.https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn0p6ll3jjgo
UN is pretty useless these days really. If it isn't pointing out the obvious its the UNHC being gamed by Russia and CHina moving developing nations votes like pawns.

His remit/brief is climate change not human rights or freedom of expression. So supporting JSO is kind of predicatable. And he doesn't look like the sort with any actual belief in 'freedom of expression', unless it means agreeing with him.

Is anti-capitalism in Fry's brief? Probably; as we were.
Oh dear. What shall we do? It appears that JSO don't understand that the London Metropolitan Police have powers of arrest in relation to breaches of the Public Order Act.

Definitely seems like a sensible use of the prison services time and money when a tagging order would’ve had the same effect.

Protester Stephen Gingell, 56, a business owner and father of three from Manchester, said: “I don’t want my beautiful boys to suffer horribly and their lives to be cut short with food shortages and riots due to climate collapse. The brutal truth is more burning of oil and gas is an act of genocide. The oil companies and the government know this. So why are they leading us into this slaughter?
“This week I climbed into the pipework of an oil refinery to shut it down. I’d never done anything remotely like that before. But I’m going to continue doing whatever it takes to stop new oil and gas.”
Tagging order eh..
