For a man in such a position,he has an appaling memory.
As someone on twitter pointed out, all the potheads he wants to jail have a better memory than him.

God knows - because no one else does (probably not even Trump himself).

I didn't watch Session's testimony live last night as I was out all evening. I've now watched some of it and it appears to me that he turned up to do three things -

i) read out a statement denying everything

ii) refuse to answer any direct questions

iii) not give any viable reasons why he was refusing to answer

And so it grows. Trump now being sued by Democrat members of Congress for violating the emoluments clause.

I guess he still owns a major shareholding in the Trump group of companies, so even if they are managed by his sons, he is making money from them.

He also gets regular briefing on his businesses from his sons, therefore not distancing himself from them (or the money)

Why is he called a conspiracy theorist but every other MSM journalists that seem to be obsessed with the Russian Conspiracy theory are never labeled as so?
Because the Russian links appear to have some substance. The head of the FBI has said so. Trump fired Flynn because of it. Etc etc.

Saying Sandy Hook didn't happen is another level of mental and disgusting.
OK well come back when actual evidence is available until then its a conspiracy theory.
It's clearly not one in the typical use of the phrase. There's are multiple formal investigations into the matter.

As opposed to people claiming dead children are fake, which doesn't have multiple formal investigations.

And China have just approved 9 of trumps trademarks they had previously rejected, prompting accusations of special treatment

Eric, I hope you are not comparing Trump to Canute - surely you know the backstory to Canute demonstrating his inability to stop the waves. There's a reason he is regarded as "Great" - he was one of the wisest and most successful Kings of his period.

No, he was a foreign invader who gained the kingdom by bloodshed, defeating and murdering the English king. Not sure any parallels can be drawn with Trump.

You may not agree with the "wise" attribution, but surely you'll concede he was extremely successful.

Reported tonight that Mueller IS investigating Trump for obstruction of justice.

As Churchill said;

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Damn those pesky "bad losers" for making the poor administration members lie left, right and centre about its dealings with Russia eh? It's not their fault, the big bad MSM and dems made them do it you see!

I am sure I will be shot down but to me this is now laughable. Those after Trump were sure Comey was going to nail him, he didn't. Then Sessions would be forced to spill the beans, he didn't and now we have special prosecutor investigating "possible" obstruction of justice.

And they are still banging on about how Russia were the ones who put him in power. Funny I thought it was the people who got up and went and voted in their election wards who did that.

Russia may have helped post "fake" news but there seemed just as much from other sources that was anti Trump and it just rolls on.

It just seems some peoples idea of democracy and mine seem to be at odds, if the system you have had for years delivers a result then that is it.

Trump told the people what he was going to do, they voted for him under their system and now others are doing everything they can to undermine him and the office. How is that democracy?

It just looks like they are throwing everything they can think of at him, pretty much indiscriminately. Which suggests, if you are minded to think, that they never had anything solid to throw.

I'm not claiming to know the truth or predict the outcome.

I think it's too soon to be saying that nothing will come of Comey, or Sessions, or the obstruction of justice stuff.

But even if it doesn't, that a sitting President is so mired in controversy should be of concern.

It's been categorically stated that Russia interfered with the election, the only doubt is over whether Trump knew or was involved. If he wasn't, his business dealings with Russia and his staffs dealings with Russia look suspect.

Then there's the fact that he hasn't removed himself from his businesses and is potentially using his position to benefit financially. I'm sure the books at Mar a Lago are looking pretty good right now.

Ultimately though I guess he'll just grab all the democrats by the pussy, and they'll let him, because you know, he's Trump.
