He gets plenty of coverage on CNN and MSNBC and appears seemingly every week on the Late Show, seems enough to me?

It was a minor op however it’s now confirmed that he did suffer a heart attack so assume this will be a factor at some point in the campaign (Hillary’s health was a campaign issue last time round as was John McCain’s back in 2008).

Hillary still going on about the Russians - apparently Gabbard (I assume this is who she means) is the new Jill Stein.

One or two of the more savvy political commentators have been saying this for months.

Makes perfect sense for the Russians to carve off as much of the Dem vote as possible into a useless dead end to ensure Putin's bh gets re-elected.

And right on cue Gabbard has just had a pissy twitter rant against Clinton worthy of Trump himself.

All a bit confusing really given Killary isn't running. Barring the top 5 runners being killed by a Armageddon-style meteorite Gabbard has no chance of winning the nomination.

No but they'll tee her up as an independent to lure votes away from Dems unhappy that their preferred nominee didn't get in and who are too motherfkin dumb to see that voting Trump out is way more important than any internecine squabble.. See a certain J Stein in 2016.

And right on cue look who's weighed in with her own pissy rant.

I wish they would and remove themselves from the situation. This actually is not very funny, if the dems fk this up and trumplethinkskin somehow makes it to the election without being removed, there are enough nutters in the US to elect the feckless sociopath for another 4 years...

No one's going to like me for saying this but as it stands, Trump's in with a bloody good chance of re-election imho.

The Dems just need to decide quickly who is going up against Trump(or Pence if they see sense and impeach the MF!) Polls say pretty much anyone will win, but they said that about Hillary last time, and assumed a fair election.
Hopefully Bernie gets the nomination

I can't work out how, in a country the size and diversity of the US, a 78 year old bloke who's just had a heart attack can be considered anyone's best hope confused

Well,I suppose you only have those who put themselves forward.
President Yang isnt an option at the moment, the front runners have proven form in government, but to me(not that I get a choice) Sanders seems best for the US. He may be older but in good(ish) health, has bounced back & is IMHO the one that offers real change.
Biden has promised his billionaire donors nothing will fundamentally change, Warren is happy to take their money too, and wants Medicare4all to be just a framework. She has taken some of Bernie's ideas and diluted them-maybe that will appeal to the more mainstream voter in the end.
I get the impression that Sanders is(& always has been) fighting for the man in the street, and certainly has a lot of support-the most money donated, by individuals not vested interests, popular among the young. and has the Squad onside.(Also his kid isnt involved in the Ukraine smile although Im sure Trump will insult him somehow) Imagine a Trump v Sanders debate : not pretty for the GOP!
The main media does seem to be biased against him somewhat though-maybe the posh Dem grandees arent too fond of his ideas(which arent even close to "socialism" no matter what others say)
Of course I may be utterly wrong, being on the wrong side of the pond,& getting my info from here(thanks Byker!) & Reddit.

Honestly it's just the age thing.

I don't know enough about Sanders to have much of a view either way, seems decent enough.

My comment wasn't really about him as an individual so much as how a 78 year old can be considered the best hope for any party?

Where are all the younger people in US politics confused

Fair point.
I was going to say it was asked in the other thread, but then I saw it was you that asked smile
Not sure myself,a quick google brought up this about the gerontocracy
https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2019/09/03...
And this on why it isnt so ba to be old (sometimes)
https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2019/10/old-a...
Long terms & safe seats were mentioned in the other thread,I imagine getting into Congress via dead man shoes will mean older people ,albeit with local experience, will get in
