Still looking in vain on the BBC news site for any reference to DA's son being arrested for assaulting a policeman...

Imagine if it had been Priti Patel's son (if she has one)?

BBC would be all over it like a cheap suit.

That vid is about her speaking in the dispatch box. No mention of the incident in question.

Don’t bother watching it. It’s of no relevance to the incident in question. The bbc aren’t reporting it

The BBC reported on it without mentioning it per se two months before it happened.

Nice little special report on food banks on tonights news possibly just coincidence that stories like this start to pop up around election time?.

How much are we betting that we start to see a increase of reports like this? NHS crumbling, little Timmy's got a buckled wheel on his wheelchair.
I wrote this on the 6th of November, who would have thought it my prediction was correct. OK little Timmy wheelchair is OK for now but some young lad had to spend some time on the floor. Just been watching the channel 4 news about how the NHS is crumbling. Its like they are trying to hint to the public for some reason.

As for the lad on the hospital floor I was watching the reporting last night on newsnight all it was about was the fake social media post and because they found that the person who sent it didn't actually know someone at the hospital, so everything stopped there end of story. No investigation searching if there was any validity in the claim, it was just simply as usual lack of funding high demand. .
I know the NHS is the golden child and above reproach but if there are mess ups in other services people ask questions "is it bad management?" "Is it bad procedures?" No it's alway just not enough money.

Strange that the BBC haven't picked up on the fact that a new larger childrens department is opening in the new year... not enough money my arse...

Tomorrow should be a fest.

They're not actually allowed to talk about the election, so expect to be bombarded with special reports about how whatever sympathetic victim group has faced increased hostility and reduced funding "since 2010."

I don't subscribe to the notion that the BBC is especially biased. If they are pissing off everyone, then they must be near impartial.

But there are clearly a couple who are more biased than others.

But Emily Maitlis has been attacking the Conservatives all morning. Repeating verboten the line that "well the tories had 10 years in office. And there's been deep cuts" Then poo-poo'd the notion that Gordon Brown hadn't left the country in the best state when he left.

She seemed to have forgotten that they have just won the biggest majority in years. The only sensible argument was that now Tories have attracted Labour voters they need to appeal to those voters for the future to retain them (something Boris has echoed today)

Now she's just said that "Well more people voted for Remain parties if you add all the voted up than Leave Parties" rolleyes Straight out of the Gina Miller playbook!

And the BBC just rolled out a severely disabled girl and asked her "have you forgiven the tories for cutting disability services"

Stick to the sodding facts and analysis!

Dont like rolls

I thought those comments (etc.) made her look completely out of tune. However I'll not be too harsh on her because she keeps whippets.

She used to live in the same block of flats as us in Hong Kong, she was mates with my mum and they used to go to yoga together. I used to quite fancy her.

She’s certainly risen in profile a bit since being on local Hong Kong news. hehe
