Political bias at BBC - something has to be done surely

I don't subscribe to the notion that the BBC is especially biased. If they are pissing off everyone, then they must be near impartial.
Why must they? We've just had a great big lesson on how the online frothers don't correlate with the country's views, and how those views were multifaceted.
Maybe they get accused of bias from so many angles simply because there are so many angles in play.

But Emily Maitlis has been attacking the Conservatives all morning. Repeating verboten the line that "well the tories had 10 years in office. And there's been deep cuts" Then poo-poo'd the notion that Gordon Brown hadn't left the country in the best state when he left.
I thought those comments (etc.) made her look completely out of tune. However I'll not be too harsh on her because she keeps whippets.Edited to say, it was this one that Edwards made:
Now she's just said that "Well more people voted for Remain parties if you add all the voted up than Leave Parties" rolleyes Straight out of the Gina Miller playbook!

It was a long time ago. Maybe 20 years or so, I remember thinking she was pretty hot though.
Marr could barely contain his anger this morning, the People's Government thing nearly tipped him over the edge...

Did I just see Question Time featuring an audience without a single person who by choice voted for the Conservatives?... Who went on to shout that the BBC is right wing?
Think the question was along the lines of “of those who voted conservative does anyone have anything positive to say about Boris?”Tumbleweed city until someone put their hand up and explained again the reasons why people voted for him.

A huge majority doesn’t mean Boris is hugely popular just that he’s hugely more appealing than corbyn’s labour.

It does. I accept a good number are very "Marmite" about him and a few chewed their tongues, but you cannot say he is not very popular with much much much larger numbers of people than any other Politician.A LOT of trust (the last dregs of it) has been given to Boris, he will need to prove his capability quickly.

Only Blair won an election (in 05) from a lower position. Everyone, even his supporters, knows Boris is a liar. They just hope he is lying about something they don't care about.

With an 80 seat tory majority, the moment Studgeons followers in the HoC bring up the issue of another independence referendum, the narrative could be. Ah! Ok your request has been noted. Now lets get on with business of the house.
Or do something more constructive such as revisiting the Barnett Formula and allocating the money to the same population in The Yorkshires.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7793107/D...
