Corbyn showing his tough side.
He's sacked Owen Smith.
Why?
Smith called for a second Brexit referendum!

This is pretty interesting from a Labour point of view - Corbyn has now made it extremely clear that a second referendum and single market membership are off the table for Labour. What does that do to the tens of thousands of hardcore remain voting Momentum members? Do they still march to Corbyn's tune (presumably the Internationale)? He's sacked Owen Smith.

She has already had his sackYou can't say you haven't been warned
Say it once its understandable she's an icon and deserves mention
Say it twice and now your not just talking your stalking
Say it thrice and people who don't know to who you refer need a visual reference

Prior the election Corby told Marr on a TV prog this:
“I am the most generous person in the world.”
He later said he had kept his word, despite the bitterly worded and contentious election between the two, when he gave Smith a job in the Shadow Cabinet after winning the leadership.
Yesterday, sort of proved the opposite!

As an aside, I’m not a Corbyn supporter at all but I haven’t actually seen any evidence of anti Semitism from him.
Did the 'whitewash' Chakrabarti report and subsequent peerage not raise any concerns from you?As for his 'generosity' to Smith, the Northern Ireland job has long been regarded as a place to park political enemies within your own party. Difficult, frustrating, and at least in the old days, downright dangerous.

He was the only contender against Corbyn in the 2016 Labour leadership election, thought everyone knew this?

Why wasn’t his history dragged up during the GE? Some very unpleasant things coming to light recently.

Either because the Tories were being strategic thought he was an easy target so didn't want to see the party replace him or... the Tories didn't do a very good job. Why wasn’t his history dragged up during the GE? Some very unpleasant things coming to light recently.

This book is worth a read.
Clearly sets out to be dispassionate on communist theory, and proceeds to rubbish it in the most measured tone possible.
If someone could read this and still ascribe to Marxist theory then they clearly have a head you could see clear through from one ear to the other.
Thanks for the reference, I was thinking more of Hayek as he wrote extensively on this subject area as well of course on the economic theories he is famous for.Clearly sets out to be dispassionate on communist theory, and proceeds to rubbish it in the most measured tone possible.
