Anybody expecting rational people to accept manmade climate change needs to realise that their faith isn't transferable - just as evidence won't convince believers that their nonsensical position is untenable whtever politicians may say and do, nevertheless they need to provide evidence in the form of credible empirical data that a causal human effect is present. After waiting patiently for many years amidst all the faith and hype and sarc and abuse and sundry verbiage from believers, there's still no evidence. All believers have is "the data don't matter" and "we believe gigo climate models that are inadequate". It's not surprising that rational individuals needing evidence to change their position have pity as well as patience when dealing with people who claim they can see invisible things that should be visible - or, worse, believe in those invisible things because somebody else told them to.

That's silly

To be honest - there has been far too much skirting around and insufficient pedantry!

Got a visible, measurable anthropogenic signal in top-of-atmosphere radiative imbalance (energy) data?

Got a visible causal human signal in any global climate (temperature) data?

Of course you don't - neither exists. That's why all you and others adopting the same ridiculous position have nothing to offer except sarc / abuse / fallacies / verbiage.

Others in this thread, which rightly has politics in the title, have from time to time posted credible empirical evidence (data) to which you and others like you have absolutely no material answer.

What is noticeable is the frustration from faithful agw followers that the faith approach of keeping this information as out of sight as possible won't work on PH as posting rules don't require adherence to the green religion - so the information is readily available, and the more attrition loops there are the more often it gets an airing. Excellent!

Keep the faith rotate

This thread just keeps giving. People arguing about plane engines with an actual pilot.

I would not trust a pilot to know about engines. The maintenance crew who service the aircraft and engineers who designed the engine, yes. Pilot not so much.
Given your previous posts, I wouldn't trust you to know anything about anything. Hence, your post didn't disappoint. I'd bet good money that he knows more about plane engines, when to use which 'mode' than your average cc cultist.

Still, fun to read.

And all pilots are the same are they? A Cesna pilot with a PPL has a full grasp of the complete workings of a Rolls-Royce Trent XWB turbofan?
So no, just because someone is legally able to fly something doesn't make them an expert on all things aeronautical.
What 'Cesna' pilot? Talk about a strawman.

hehe

He's landed 767's and 787's at Heathrow and he's being reduced to a Cesna pilot with a PPL?

No, really?

I don't know about his escapades at Heathrow, but he's awfully quiet on the subject of his role in use of this switch to control / subjugate populations;

Make your selection from the believer reply menu below:

shoot the messenger / sarc / abuse / fallacies / verbiage

It's good that jjlynn27 finds time to post verbiage in this thread when there's such an active fan club over on the EU Remain Whining thread to manage,

It seems your (jjlynn) argument is falling short you resort to childish remarks that have nothing to do with the subject?, What a narcistic little pratt you are...
We knew that! The climate thread is ahead of the game!!

Another reply, which was about to be posted here, was edited by a Mod so there'd be no point in repeating it.

Meanwhile on the topic of climate politics and as agw faithful have nothing new (evidence) to offer...NG was wrong about the bears.

Politicians control weather and climate in their spare time via taxation so this must be politics - snow in Italy in July.

You do know how to read don't you - when did I mention Stovey? I was pointing out that a pilot may or may not know much about the internal working of engines.

Not at all. Every large oil company has it's own believer scientists. Many of the staff are believers. It's great for the company, it suits their longterm sales agenda. Seems simple.
