I’m totally up for the Heathrow expansion and am disappointed it’s being delayed again.

I’d hoped that with a new government and a huge majority and all those spending pledges on infrastructure this would be finally getting done.

Looking back to the beginning of the thread I’m saying this on page 1.

Since they've been 'instructed' to by the Govt would be my guess.

This way it doesn't look like the new Govt is the obstacle to the expansion. Its far too much of a co-incidence that this announcement happens a week after the GE.
