I'll bite, share your intimate knowledge of Coolbanana's success and the huge contributions he's made to the British economy, that we have now foregone.

I'd love the EU to tell you the UK sod off now - it needs to learn that the EU does not need the UK nearly as much as it thinks it does. smile
I'm glad you packed your bags and pissed off to Portugal - what a loss to the UK, lucky old Portugal having you in their midst.

The EU will continue to wriggle and fight like a bunch of Ferrets in a sack but the hole left by cutting off the U.K. completely will be akin to hitting the self destruct button
Is this the new project fear?
No, it’s actually fact

You’ve got 27 kids in the playground all squabbling for the best outcome for themselves

You have a 28th Big kid sitting beside the playground trying to referee

Trouble is .. the rules the 28th is playing by isn’t the same as the 27, but he’s bigger and thinks he can bully the 27 into playing the game his way

Meanwhile a 29th kid, good ole Blighty, sits back and watches

It’s told the other 28 what rules they need to accept before it will play with them

The 27 in the playground and the ringmaster (28) must decide if they can come up with a set of rules THEY all agree on before asking kid 29 if they are acceptable and whether he wants to come and play with them

It’s not project fear .. it’s the reality

smile

The UK hasn't backed itself into any corners, other than not signing over things no nation ever has willingly... That seems a pretty reasonable red line.
You don't think that stating we will walk away with nothing if not done by the end of 2020 involves a corner?
No. There's nothing that says we will stop negotiating a FTA post that date. Merely that we won't permit continued uncertainty and control by the EU over our laws and regs post that date.

Indeed Pan.

The difficulty comes when the EU backs itself into a corner with public absolute demands which then not only requires strong negotiations to overcome to a mutually agreeable solution, but also the EU institutions figuring out how they're going to spin it to save face (such as the shift in their long held and 'final' WA position)
Or the UK does.

UK 100% right then?

zero understanding of compromise

ironic given the greyness applied to Sabinsky
Nope. Learn to read...

We have permitted lots of room for compromise. There is a single red line - after 31st December, the EU will not control our laws or regs.

I'm disappointed you're still beating your wife.

And that despite being anti-autism, you continue to desire binary thinking.

No one has suggested 'closing our waters' to EU fishing boats.

Merely that they'll have to abide by our rules, our quotas, and our definition of 'economic links' for boats to attain quota permissions.

It is.

Lots of us said lots of times that the things that have happened would not happen.

They're too busy now telling us what won't happen next to be reminded about what previously wouldn't happen but did.

Now there's a question that the EU totally ignored, and probably wished they hadn't.

Where do you think the compromise lies with respect to the European Court of Justice's jurisdiction to decide which laws will apply in the United Kingdom, irrespective of whether those laws are made in Westminster or Brussels?

I'm aware this is just a more pointed version of the question that sway has been asking you many times, but you have ducked so far. Care to have a go now?

That makes no sense.

If you are referring to inter Eu movement of expertise as being a bad thing then it is equally as bad within individual member states.

Shall we add store, credit cards , gambling, the lottery etc to the list. That’s before we get into bad dietary habits. Can’t have the feckless making poor decisions can we?
