As I later said in an edit - I'd have gone downstairs.
I can just imagine the relentless hyena like screaming going on and on from the scum, the abuse, and finally one of the victims snaps - and YOU try to manipulate others into believing they were the aggressors based on a a tiny portion of edited video. You should be fking ashamed.
Anyone who's had coin thrown at them (I have at a petrol station) will know it's not a pleasant experience. Of course you could go downstairs, but there's a good chance you would smack them in the face. I would probably do the latter if I was with a friend. This is an interesting case in several ways - two females (so we assume they won't hit back), some homophobic comments thrown in (if it was racial comments - you would be less likely to jump on the it wasn't racist because only one of the attackers said it?).

Yet when we say owen Jones deserves a slap, we get told violence is never acceptable yet here it is. Make your minds up
The criminals started the violence by throwing coins - the woman's reaction captured on video was her attempt to get them to stop.Don Roque said:

It looked more like a violent affray with the blonde woman windmilling and throwing punched and her partner trying to pull her back and restrain her. As one of the boys goes to leave the bus, the blonde woman is still attempting to hit him. I don't think either side comes off well from the exchange seen on CCTV.
Won’t someone think of the childrenI think in that situation it's up to the victim to respond in a way they think best matches the situation - I think it was proportionate and although better [safer] courses may be seen in hindsight I don't have a problem with what they did.
The interesting part for me was the aspect of 'hate crime', i.e. were they picked on because of hate of lesbians or harassed because of their sexuality [there's a thin line there for the observant]. I think now it's fairly obvious [by the scissor hand sign gesture] that this was a factor and I think the guy who has his case on that specific at a later date will be guilty also.

Video up
Now this is an interesting one.
Philosophically should you use violence against somebody being inappropriate using words?
Threats of violence are quite common against people you disagree these days with so it's not surprising against someone who has directly offended you.Now this is an interesting one.

Another one sentenced for the attack which didn't happen and was definitely just a random mugging.

It is just me or have the sentences been pathetic for an unprovoked attack on two women.
I thought including an ism in the charges would make the authorities take this assault more seriously.
It’s an “ic” not and “ism”. Plus SWT, equality haha, poor kids were attacked by them etc. I thought including an ism in the charges would make the authorities take this assault more seriously.

One of the boys got a 8 month community order not 6 months - this is as it was a homophobic attackI thought including an ism in the charges would make the authorities take this assault more seriously.
That'll give him plenty of extra time to think about what he's done
