Wow. That's a fking awful name. There's just far too much attention seeking with this couple. I think the PR team have failed once again.

Upset? Hysterical with laughter and disbelief more like. I couldn't think of a more blatant example of cynical two-faced attention seeking than that - pissing on an institution while at the same time cashing in on all its branding.

Just when you are thinking they are deserving of the benefit of the doubt H&M pull this latest stunt. How long before they have another sprog and call it Diana?

If Meghan produces another one before killing and eating Harry, it will also be lumbered with whatever name she sees will offer the most publicity at that moment.

Some people seem to get easily offended nowadays.

(By the way, lots of family members call the Queen Lilibet to this day.)

I'm surprised she didn't consider corporate branding. She could have named the girl Netflix for example, or maybe some abbreviation, Nettie say?

Lots? Maybe a couple of cousins if that.

Just saying I've heard her referred to in that way by at least two people in TV documentaries recently and neither was (the late) Philip.

My only problem with it is that it isn't a proper name. It's a nickname. Ridiculous. But then I am a stick in the mud.
Second time they're done that.

If you want to call your kid by a nickname or whatever fine, but normal people don't actually formalise it.

If nothing else think of the poor kid who has to go through life labelled like a baby.

His Nan can't be that bad then if they named the kid after her.

Seems to me the "Diana" name is the most cynical PR stunt at the moment!

Don't want to be in the public eye and leave the royal family so they then go on a chat show, release a book and pop a baby out which is all over the news.

Yet they want to be out of the public eye

Now that H&M have taken the sensible precaution of sheltering them from the paparazzi by moving to LA, they will be sure to grow up well-adjusted and normal, like all the other kids of the rich and famous in LA do.
