On trumps tweet where he said:

Donald J. Trump
?Verified account @realDonaldTrump

“Federal Judge throws out Stormy Danials lawsuit versus Trump. Trump is entitled to full legal fees.” @FoxNews Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas. She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!

Horseface...
Again, Donald - if Stormy Daniels' lawyer is 3rd rate, where the hell does that rate your ex-lawyer Cohen?

I don't disagree, but I am starting to wonder if there's going to be enough of a pushback against him in the midterms to really make any difference. I hope so, but I'm less confident than I was. That said, I saw this in deepest rural Georgia at the weekend, so anything is possible!

The entire case hasn't been thrown out though has it? It's just one part of it, that is now being appealed.
The judgement was along the lines of "Trump attacking Daniels was just Trump being Trump. There's not enough time in the world to sue him every time he tweets"

This type of dumb st really allows the orange fool to muddy the waters and makes it more likely he'll roughly foist himself on the US at the next election.

IIRC Trump said something along the lines of 'if she was nominated, and we were in a debate, I'd chuck a DNA test at her' - classy as ever. Easy to hide behind the 'not what I said' line when only the last few words were used. It doesnt help the perception of the media to cut the first 2/3rds, even if not that relevant.

With regards to the test.

She may be c1/500th - 1/1000th South American, as the test she took did not include any Native American DNA to match to, so was testing a match to a selection of Mexican, Columbian and Peruvian (I think) markers. The assumption being these would be a good proxy for Native American.

When the largest database in the US (23andme) looked at their data, the average European American was c0.2% Native American, or approx twice as Native American as Warren's result. So even amongst a very white population, she is more white than average.

She has listed her ethnicity as Cherokee across a wide range of publications and made regular references to it being very recent and significant, so much that according to her, her parents had to elope as her paternal grandparents family were so racist they couldn't take her father marrying a Cherokee. To find out that you have possibly have 0.1% of DNA that is linked via proxy to a broad race, doesn't really support her story of being Cherokee.

If her story was that in the distant past of her family there was legend of a Cherokee ancestor, the DNA result would support that. It doesn't support her ongoing claim to be Cherokee. Reporting that this confirms anything relating to her actual claims is very helpful to the orange st gibbon.

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present your president. In addition to his...umm...shortcomings, he has demonstrated his incompetence, hatred of women and lack of self control on Twitter AGAIN! And perhaps a penchant for bestiality. Game on, Tiny.

Avenatti has said in a previous tweet that he will fight Trump in the gutter if needs be.

Not sure what to make of that but it's all pretty gobsmacking stuff.

Gobsmacking, yet neither shocking nor surprising and things will get much, much worse before this is all over.

Not really. I think the whole thing is extremely silly by both sides (and Warren should probably have waited till after the midterms to bring up this even if she does have an issue). All I read into your post was that you don't like Warren very much, and to that end you're no less blinkered than anyone on her side.

If (you should) you want to get at Trump, use your brains and try not to support people who lie like she has.

Very very drunk in Brest, France I had a lively debate with a bunch of US sailors about claimed heritage. One was “Italian”, didn’t speak a word and was only Italian by one grandparent. I pointed out that most Europeans are absolute mongrels with my own heritage being English, Welsh, scottish, Irish, French, German and a whole lot of unknown. They didn’t get it, they just want to be something because just being a yank isn’t a thing.

As my parents used to say when me and my brothers would fight, six of one and half a dozen of the other. I don't think anyone I've seen on this thread is "supporting her" per se, more just typically unsurprised when a debate with Trump ends up in the gutter. He's the president, for God's sake. Seeing him constantly behave like a child is a downright embarassment.

Basically, trump is creating a Twitter feud with a porn-star that won't honor an NDA as a distraction from the White House helping Saudi Arabia cover up a journalist being killed and dismembered with a bone saw.

Cleaners went in before the investigators were allowed in. Khashoggi was dismembered in the embassy to get rid of the evidence from the embassy.

https://edition.cnn.com/2018/10/16/middleeast/khas...

Meanwhile, trump continues defending those that have compromising evidence against him, is willingly and knowingly doing the counter messaging for the Saudi kingdom. He floated the "rogue attackers" theory and now vouching for their transparent denials and vows to investigate.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Just spoke with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia who totally denied any knowledge of what took place in their Turkish Consulate. He was with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo...

The turks definitely have that embassy bugged. They know which room Khashoggi was killed in, by whom, how it happened and how long it took, including comments by the butchers. It was an execution, not an interrogation. The dismemberment of Jamal Khashoggi began while he was still alive and took 7 minutes.

Several members of the hit squad are from the Saudi crown prince’s security detail, one was a frequent companion of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/10/16/world/middleeas...

https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/exclusive-khash...

trump last night continued to defend the Saudi's even as the audio tape contents were revealed, comparing the international condemnation of Saudi Arabia for the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi to the sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh.

I suppoise in that way he's right, he's tried to brush both under the carpet and ignore the evidence presented.

True to form, in his AP interview last night, he called Cohen "a PR person who did small legal work.", ignoring he was his personal lawyer, delivered many NDA's for him, worked for him for over a decade doing this...

He also said he won't accept blame if GOP loses control of House.
