You can imagine a customer asking the waiter what wine he would recommend.... "well Sir I know the owner managed to pop a cheeky little new world red down the front of his trousers this afternoon"

My mate worked for the company that sold that stuff. He did ok but he was far from earning a fortune (AWT not my mate).

It says on the packet "Prick with a fork"
I think that was wrongly attributed - I think the original was a package featuring Ainsley Harriot.

That said, it should apply to either...

he has said he will seek treatment - so seems he knew what he was doing. For kicks or skint.

That's what I would have thought. Celebrity popularity ebbs and flows, he should have known that. In a few years time, it would have all come around again for him. What a tt.

Despite his diabolical 'eggy fookin bread' I always thought he was the opposite side to the antichrist that is Ramsey, so I had some time for him.

Anyway as crooks go, he's got nothing to worry about, he ain't no Tony Blair or Gordon Brown!

Nah, the real pro's take their steak to the self service veg weighing counter and put it through as carrots. Get the print off sticker and put it over the real barcode on the steak.

When you get to the checkout it scans for a fraction of price and the weight is correct so no alerts go off. You also don't have to do anything that might attract attention regards re-scanning things whilst being observed.

It would only be picked up if they saw you abusing the veg weigh scales elsewhere in the store, or noticed that the description of what you were bagging didn't match the screen.
Had he done this The Sun could really go to town, there could have been a headline along the lines of 'Top cock carrot top cook in the dock for carrot shop stock shock'.... Or something.

It infuriated me when i saw he only got a caution, 5 occasions... surely the deserves a custodial sentance...he isn't sorry, he's just sorry he got caught. He is wealthier than many people and 99% dont stoop to his level so it just adds to how bad it is in my opinion. Its just morally wrong on so many levels...Cant stand the chap!
